I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The food, atmosphere, and overall vibe were absolutely perfect. I ordered the nachos, tacos, and the Mamalón Hot Dog, and every single dish was delicious. The nachos were loaded and flavorful, the tacos were fresh and perfectly seasoned, and the Mamalón Hot Dog was a fun, unique standout that I’ll definitely be coming back for.
The service was friendly and fast, and the atmosphere made the whole meal even better—great energy without being too loud, and super clean and welcoming.
Highly recommend! I’ll definitely be returning soon.

Our beautiful server, Claudia was the best part of our experience! Attentive, knowledgeable, and very professional, she kept us informed on why our drinks were taking awhile to arrive. One of the owners even tried to have the kitchen “spice up” our salsa tray, to no avail, so we had to order chiles toreados. The barbacoa tacos were generous and delicious- very clean and flavorful. The order said it came with 4 tacos but since I added a cheese crust, I only got 3. That should’ve been explained on the menu somehow. The place is small and crowded, but luckily, we had a reservation and ended up at a booth. The corn ribs needed more charring , but the bean dip made up for that. And finally, since they ran out of the churro cheesecake (on a Tuesday), they threw in a free slice of piña colada cake, which was sweet, but a bit dry. Overall, our rating would be a 7.5/10. We’ll probably return in a month and see if anything has changed. Great job, DS!

I had such a wonderful experience at Distrito Sunset and I am definitely coming back! The atmosphere is fun with great music—loud enough to enjoy, but still perfect for having a conversation.
The rib eye tacos are a must-try — and make sure to ask for the melted cheese Absolutely delicious! Their grandma soup was amazing too, full of flavor with just the right amount of spice.
Our waitress, Paulina, was super friendly and took great care of us. Overall, this is a great place to bring your friends — but most importantly, bring your appetite!

Exceptional experience my wife and I had here at Distrito! We walked in, instantly greeted by an amazing atmosphere. Claudia was our waiter and her service was nothing short of amazing. The food, authentic, fresh, bursting with flavor. The combination of atmosphere, service, food authenticity is why we will be coming back for sure.

We ordered Chamorro de puerco and it was delicious. We also ordered tacos de rib eye, a Sunset Mezcalita, guacamole con chicharrón and guayaba pie. Everything was delicious. Highly recommended.

Collectively this place is average, neither good nor bad. I don’t regret coming here but I’m not necessarily interested to come back.
Server was good, friendly and he proactively removed finished plates and got us refills.
Food came out fast, got sirloin, rib eye and barbacoa tacos. Respectively in taste I’d rate them 5/10, 5/10 and 8/10. Barbacoa is good but it’s labio (lip) mixed with cachete (cheek), which decreases the flavor from a labio-only tacos as conventionally made in ciudad Juarez. The sirloin and ribeye were very generic and basic in taste, meat did not taste fresh. Food arrived slightly cold. The tacos themselves had a good amount of meat in them (some places are small tacos or barely any meat) thus that was good. However the prices are very expensive as most taco order options only include two tacos.
The salsas are not spicy and lack authentic Mexican sazon (seasoning).
The music is too loud to have an easy conversation with another guest. Restaurant was about 70% capacity but still felt really loud from the people talking.
The churro cheesecake was good too (7/10).
Main thing keeping me from coming back is the high prices.
Male bathroom had a strong unpleasant sewage smell, but it was clean.
