Wanted to try something new I then crossed along this food truck boriplata. Walking up the owners were very friendly and even went over the menu with me. Being that it was our first time going they let us try the rice with bean and when I tell u I was in heaven I just needed more . We ordered a lil bit of everything from the menu and we were not disappointed at all. This will officially be my regular goto spot for now on. They made everything fresh so it might take a while but it’s worth the wait ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️. We got Patacon, mangu, pernil empanadas, Philly steak empanadas, acapuria and a fanchoco.
The mangu came with 2 eggs my husband ate it already he couldn’t wait a long with the Philly steak empanada. The acapuria was huge and I ate it too fast to capture a picture as well lol. And the Patacon came with 2 however I ate the other one which is why only 1 is shown. Will be back!!!!

I tried the rice is was awesome. I tried Philly cheesesteak empanada it is awesome great taste and filled up with meat and cheese. Husband and wife that runs it are really nice and friendly had sweet plantains and chuck pork chop and rice are awesome and great taste too. Itz 10 star in my book.

YOU WONT REGRET IT !!!!! This was honestly some of the best food I’ve ever had in Florida. The service was great and the food was even better. We actually went back again on the same day to try more things. We tried : beef empanadas, pork empanadas, tostones, arroz con gandules, dominican breakfast, fried chicken chunks with mofongo, flan, choco-flan, morir sonando, passion fruit smoothie. Last but not least they also have Kola Champagne and Coco Rico.

Food was very delicious and fresh! My favorite was the Jibarito Sandwich, yuca frita, and pizza empanada.
Tamarindo and Mango smoothies topped the meal off very well! Will definitely be back to try more.

I enjoy coming here for myself as well as for family and friends. We enjoy our food every single time. They are wonderful and pay attention to detail. I’ve been here several times since but after just one visit they remembered two of my dietary restrictions. After one visit! Although it’s my job to remember my dietary restrictions I didn’t have to. Each time I visit they ask about it to ensure there are no changes. They provide a welcoming environment each visit. This is one of my go to spots.

I had the super munchies and was totally confused about what to order. That’s when the owner stepped in and recommended something not even on the menu… it felt like a top-secret special! I was so hungry I ate half of it before I even thought to take a picture.

He’s food is real authentic tiene un sabor a sofrito de casa de Wela first thing as you walk up to the truck your greeted with arroz con gandules so you could try the seasoning which is bomb the alcapurias are amazing they taste of plátano y la carne super adoba. I order the mangu con 3 golpes love my salami thin a crispy as well as my cheese and he busted it out the park. Would recommend, Mr Jay is really humble he asks you how you like your food and he will make it your way which is super attentive. Will go back a million times

We ordered alcapurrias, empanadas and a cheeseburger with fries. We tasted the arroz con gandules, the beans and the soup. Wow!! Everything tasted amazing. Everything is full of flavor, tastes authentic. The sauces are also homemade. I one million percent recommend this place. And to make it better, the owners offered us an amazing customers service. Definitely going back when I’m in Tampa! Thank you!
