Just about the only location to get crispy, delicious donuts in the area from Sioux Falls to Brookings! The nutty donuts are phenomenal! I had a whole box taken to an office as a gift a d everyone raced about them!

I used to get long John’s here as a kid and since i was in town visiting i thought i stop in and see if they were still the same. I was surprised when i saw them in the case. After 34 years they still are the most delicious long John’s ever! Thank you for Flandreau Bakery!!

Went to the bakery during a visit to South Dakota with my dad. This is a charming old school bakery with a wonderful selection of breads and baked goods. The woman who helped us was super friendly and the pastries and cookies were delicious! I brought home some ‘Cowboy Cookies’ for my family in California and they loved them!

Once a month, they try to have donut holes on Saturday (pre-order!). SO GOOD! We like to get their chocolate covered chocolate donut holes. These are bites of pure heaven. They, of course, also have all the other donuts – jelly, long johns, glazed, etc. They make them fresh and some flavors rotate in out, but there are some they always carry – like their chocolate croissants (pain au chocolat) that are fairly good (another thing I like to grab when I’m there).

Best long Johns this side of the Mississippi great place we came out from California for the 4th of july and we never miss going to the bakery once or twice one year we took a dozen of long johns home ( which was very hard not to eat them in the 1700 miles to home). Froze them and still very good
