This place has the BEST shrimp fried rice in Milwaukee! They only do carry out so don’t let the outdated atmosphere deter you!

The cook/cooks here are amazing!

Update 10/1/25:

I wasn’t going to give up, and I’m so glad I tried again! This place instantly brought back the best food memories.

Let’s be real: the decor is retro, but if you know anything about truly amazing Chinese food, you know the golden rule—the more run-down the place looks, the better the food tastes!

The fried rice—whatever variation you choose—is absolutely NEXT LEVEL! I’m declaring it the Best in Milwaukee, hands down! I have been on a personal mission, trying every contender—Hong Kong Express, A1 China, Yaya, you name it—and nothing compares. The ultimate fried rice champion is right here!

The owner, Jenny, is an absolute sweetheart and so nice! Don’t let the exterior stop you—walk right in, say hello, and order the fried rice. Seriously, the food is more than worth it! You won’t regret it!

Old review:
3 of the 3 times I bothered to enter this restaurant no workers were in the lobby, receptionist desk, anywhere to be found to even place my order. Never got the chance to order my food before I left disgusted! I even yelled “Hello” loudly and nobody even bother to greet me. I’ve fond memories of eating here in my early 20’s, now I’m late 40’s and love to support this restaurant but apparently the service needs an overhaul. Spend couple dollars update your lighting, its so dark most customer walk right in and walk out, this place is way out dated and looks like a dump!

The exterior is a bit old, and the inside is also old, no internal use, and the interior looks a little dark. Fried rice is not bad.

I ordered imperial eggrolls upon entering the facility. There was a very dense appearance and smell of old refrigeration. The hostess was very nice. The price was very good two dollars per egg roll and the eggrolls were basic. I go there again only if it was only option close to my home and I don’t feel like driving, I believe everyone agrees they need to clean up that place clear that smell and turn on some lights because lots of places turn off lights to hide infestation of mice and roaches, and we can only imagine what the kitchen looks like

Maybe that’s why the prices are so cheap but there’s hope simply shut it down, clean it up, clean the windows and doors when you first come in and people may start to come back because it is a very ideal location in terms of option for Chinese food culturally cooked versus Hong Kong express located nearby on the northwest side near 76 in good Hope in Mill Road

Ordered shrimp egg foo young, orange chicken and pork fried rice. The food was TERRIBLE we couldn’t even finish it. The egg foo young came w the same sauce they put on what they called orange chicken. Both were nasty. The fried rice was also not good. Definitely a waste of 30 bucks I’ve had better food from Panda Express. Don’t waste your money.

The Chinese Fried chicken was cooked so hard that I could not eat it. Also, the eggs rolls was the worse I ever had. It was hard to believe they were egg rolls. I could only take one bite of the egg roll and I could not consume it. The hostess was very kind, but they need to clean up the place. I will never go back there in these conditions that I had concerns with!
