Awesome bar, has an old time laid back feel. Decor all over the place to take in while your enjoying your favorite beverage. Will definitely stop back in again once the weather breaks to enjoy there outdoor area.

This has been a bar by me for several decades. Kinda always wary of it. I’ve been in 3 times, walked through the door 4 times.
1st visit was 30 or so years ago. Must have been winter, they had a lovely wood fire going, loved the ambiance. I was young and not comfortable.
Went again very recently on a Thursday afternoon when Mooney’s was closed, another place I’d only been a handful of times. Met Mark, bartender, nice guy. Lots of swearing and hard talk, didn’t care much about that. Enjoyed my time, wings were delicious, I got what I asked for. Mark was great and said I would come back.
Went back the following Saturday afternoon. Different bartender, female, apparently not the one that I’ve been told patrons come back for. Nice enough, busy, no worries.
Longer story was the wife of a very nice gentleman I had a long talk with. Took me 45 min to eat 6 wings. She on the otherhand did nothing but complain, poor guy.
Eventually she disrespected me and I called her on it. It seems to be the theme of the bar. I left promising not to return. I went back Friday afternoon, as I had a rare day off, hoping for Mark. I opened the door, saw the 2nd bartender and left. She walked out, took a look at me as I waved, and went back in. I am officially not welcomed there, I’m not the crowd they prefer, kinda like high school.
I’m not saying I was wholly right, but there is no forgiveness there. And as I said, kinda a verbally rough and unkind crowd, they have their regulars that definitely are not the “Cheers” crowd.
