Ended up at this charming little Mexican restaurant in a somewhat surprising place. The food was delicious. Everything, the rice, the beans the tacos.., all had a unique taste, not new or trendy, but an added depth and complexity. It was one of the best Mexican dishes I’ve ever had.
The staff was warm and inviting. You instantly felt as if you were a beloved customer who’d been dining there for years. Of course, with such yummy food and welcoming staff the atmosphere was cozy. The place is small and intimate with lots of original artwork on the walls and outdoor tables when weather permits. All in all, I was really impressed and therefore cannot say enough about this place. (Although I’d really like to keep it hidden away!) It’s original and quirky and I’m already craving the food (and the next experience) again!

I met Jack the owner. Super nice, very clean, and amazing food! I had two breakfast orders the Peruvian burrito special and the Ultimate burrito. Best Burritos I’ve had in a very long time! Some of the best food can be found in the smallest of places.

OKAY soo hear me out.. I used to live right next to this restaurant so one day I tried their breakfast burrito. I literally ate the same shrimp burrito for 1 full year. EVERYDAY. It makes my day. I sometimes get two full size burritos because it tastes like heaven. I highly highly recommend this place.

Ate here recently. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Food tasted really good. $7.75 for a breakfast burrito is a bit steep but that’s just me. Their coffee is the best I’ve tasted. Usually restaurants make weak coffee. Not Achiote Grill. Their salsa tasted smoky and tasted homemade- yummy. I gave 3 stars because it was hot inside. They had no A/C and not even a fan. Also theres issues with home printed menu.

This little shop is amazingly quaint, and the owner is lovely to chat with. He has no qualms making your food exactly how you like it, and you can tell he truly takes pride in his work.
The shrimp burritos are absolutely wonderful, and come with a bunch of slices of fresh fruit (which, admittedly, I don’t eat enough of otherwise).
I’m hoping business increases for Achiote Grill, because it definitely deserves it.

Best little breakfast spot!!! This hole in the wall place is so cute and delicious breakfast I have had in a long time! Jeff the owner is so nice and makes everything from scratch, even the coffee creamer. Try the chilaquiles so much flavor! Enjoy!
