My husband got us plates from there earlier. And I have absolutely no complaints. Everything was amazing. I had a fried whole catfish, fried hard, w coleslaw on the side and my husband got a country fried steak. Everything was amazing. And the sweet potato pie was to die for! Definitely taste homemade and I woudlve prolly eaten 4 slices. Very delicious. Will be back.

Seafood buffet tonight was horrible I’ve been before and and everything was cooked great but tonight it was greasy and over cooked breading on shrimp was so full of grease ! I got a go plate and it was horrible ! I guess they got a new cook but last time I went was about a year ago and it was great ! Girl checking us out was great sweet and friendly!

I’m telling you this is the best southern soul food you can get in this area. I know for a fact any time I revisit Mississippi I’ll be returning to this restaurant. I’d try the fish, chicken, mac’n cheese & sweet tea for sure. Yummy!!

BUT….
We recently went there for my dad’s birthday.
Our burgers were good, the fries were good, the mozzarella sticks were not, the toast was not. The tea was alright.
The prices are crazy high. There was only one waitress, she was also doing the cash register.
Just for 2 burgers, fries, 3 teas, toast and mozzarella sticks was $50.
For my parents, sister and her husband, it was $76.
Plus they automatically add a 15% gratuity to any group of 5 people or more. They charged that to my parents and sister. If we had realized that they had, we would not have also given her a tip.

For the most part, it is a good restaurant. However, the best thing my family and I liked were the hamburgers. They were real burger, thick and so big they would extend beyond the bun. It was hard to finish one. Now, they have some thin small excuse for a burger which reminds me of something a fast food place would have. For the price, it is no longer worth it and none of us have been back.

While driving the Natchez Trace Parkway we got hungry and found Kountry Kitchen on google. We love these small mom and pop places and Kountry Kitchen did not disappoint. Excellent food choices with great southern flavor and taste. I highly recommend. People are very friendly also.

I drove through town today with my sister and we stopped here. So glad we did! The food was fantastic. My sister does not like black eyed peas but she tried theirs and loved them. Wish I had their recipe. Thank you for such great service. Cant wait to come back.
