BEWARE!!!! I don’t how they’re rated so high food was horrible. You know the food is bad when your starving and you still throw the food away. Don’t waste your time or your money your better off at Mc Donald’s. No wonder the menu is half off and there specials are so cheap.

We stopped in for dinner around 6pm and we were the only ones there. I should have taken that as a sign to go elsewhere. But I thought new management food and service should quick and good. Boy I was wrong the server couldn’t tell you anything about the new African cuisine or the menu and being the only table in the restaurant you would have thought the food would be quick hot and prompt again no took over 30 minutes to get our food and it’s wasn’t like they were doing any take out orders either and lone behold the food wasn’t fully cooked. That’s days old pre made food frozen and reheated in microwave. You could hear the ding of the microwave. We noticed the gyro spit was empty and not even cooking any meat so how are you to order a fresh gyro that’s not frozen. What a shame this place was once fun to hang out and get good food but that was 20 year ago. I hate to say it but once it went down hill and with all the owner changes it hasn’t ever recovered and the new owners aren’t doing any better. What a shame you really want to help support local businesses but not when it’s quality and service is poor.

I love this place and have been going here with my pops for years.
The bar is always lively, but always with a friendly atmosphere.
The blackened chicken sandwich is PHENOMENAL and I strongly recommend it if you like cajun flavor.
Yo so the reason why I switched to a 1 star for this place was because it switched management and owners. When that happened everything changed a little. I had ONE very bad experience with a rude crowd at the bar (while I was in the dining room) and the server did not help and essentially took their side. That wasn’t the first time I had a negative interaction with that server too.
TL DR : Things changed when new owners came in.

Service was good. The host/waitress was kind and inviting. It was our first time there so we took a min choosing our meals. She was very tentative. The food was great! The menu has a lot a great options and variety. Well presented and tasteful. Very reasonable prices. I just left the restaurant and I already recommended to a friend.

Surprisingly large and varied menu. Kitchen isn’t hidden which is a plus. Wait staff was nice and attentive. Burgers are fresh ground. I ordered the New Orleans grits (shrimp & sausage) and it was great. Misses a 5th star because prices all felt high all things considered.

This is hands down the best place to eat .I started ordering from here about two months ago and I can’t stop .I like how they have a wide variety of different kinds of foods .a couple of my favorites are the catfish rolled in n pecans, the red skin mash potatoes the crab dip. The fries are really good too well everything I have tried has been good . And it don’t take long to get it delivered. I would give this place a 10 stars if i could.

I wanted to like this place so bad. Versatile menu, lots of great options….but 2.5 hours after ordering and we are still waiting for our food. In addition, after calling to ask where our food was, the host said ” it was a crazy night, we have one driver and 10 orders. Its out there. I just cant say when.” When it came the food was really good. Never ordering takeout again.

Had the fried oyster appetizer. Delicious. Followed with the New Orleans Blackened Chicken sandwich. Loved it! Slice of ham and fresh avocados was very tasty. New owner. Good guy whose making great changes. Also have the ability to do karaoke. That was fun. Looking forward to going back again.

This was the first time we have been here and probably would not come back. It is small and it was freezing. They even put a portable heater on top of the counter. We ate with our coats. My wife got hot water for her drink so she could keep her hands warm . The service was dismal. He took our order went to the counter came back and asked us what did we order. I ordered a hamburger medium rare it came back medium well.

Great little local place. Great Cajun menu. I had the hickory smoked meatloaf, extremely tasty. Also had a side of sauted mushrooms and spinach, worth the up charge from the taters. Very friendly staff and customers, if you in the neighborhood, stop in. To boot, they played Sinatra’s Summer Wind as the second song and the Bee Gees are playing now. Great mix.
