A few of us at the office had takeout lunch today. We were all disappointed. Called in the ordered ahead of time from website menu and were told a higher and different price when order was picked .
Roe said, “it did not have much taste. It was bland.’
Rob said, “He would not order from here again.” He eats lunch out frequently.

Had a disappointing experience with this establishment today. We ordered lunch for some students who won a “Teacher Experience” from Shrewsbury Borough School in which we supplied a Cinco de May lunch. We did this last year, and it was enjoyed by all, and was very successful. We were happy to provide a Shrewsbury establishment with business. This year however, when the lunch order was called in, the person who took our order, Ron, was rather rude and seemed uninformed about the menu items. When a cheese quesadilla was requested, he asked, more than once, “What’s that?” He then seemed harried and impatient while taking the rest of our order, and did not include the choco tacos we ordered. To his credit (I guess) he didn’t charge us either, because he never actually put the order in for them, which we didn’t realize until we opened the bag back at school. Not the biggest of deals in the long run, but truthfully, when you’re in a service industry, it helps to treat customers kindly and have some type of knowledge of the menu at the establishment where you work. I believe next year we will offer lunch from a different restaurant in this area, as there are many other good choices.

The server was nice n on top of things . Only he has no control over the food and that was the most disappointing part.
The rice was old , cold stale. The food is very salty n generic . Probably the worst meal I had out in a while. Way over priced as well. No Chips n salsa given but 6.00 on menu.

Pathetic. Overpriced for inedible food. Hard to imagine this place is affiliated with Asbury Park restaurants. Vegetables are so hard, concrete would be easier to chew. Meat dishes are enough to feed a sparrow, barely, a baby sparrow for sure. The only place in NJ that can mess up chips and salsa! Disgusting.
And to boot, the service is as nasty as it’s beverages. Bad is too kind a word to describe this place.

Today is the second time my coworkers and I have attempted to order lunch from this place, both times no one answered the phone. Today we even called an hour in advance to make sure they were taking orders today for lunch, they said yes, we got our order together and called back 5 times and no one answered. Once we got the answering machine. It’s 12:30 pm, they’ve been open for one hour…I don’t understand how they just don’t answer the phone to take orders for lunch…This is the last time we will be attempting though.

Food is average, but the prices are very high. Not worth what they charge. For example, $6 for chips and salsa! Thought that would be included with an $18 burrito for lunch.
