At Grab Thai, I believe that authentic Thai cuisine shouldn’t require compromise – not on flavor, not on freshness, and certainly not on your busy schedule. My story begins in Thailand where the I grew up learning how to cook traditional Thai food from my mom, preparing the family meals each day. The aromatic dance of lemongrass and fresh chilies now fill the air here as traditional recipes passed down come to life. Whether you’re craving the fiery kick of Tom Yum soup on a cold afternoon or need a quick yet satisfying meal between meetings, I’m proud to share with you restaurant-quality Thai cuisine just like I make at home.

We had wanted to try this place across from Trader Joe’s in Mt. Lebanon for awhile. I’m glad we finally decided to order takeout from here.
This place is good option for local, flavorful, and affordable Thai food.
It’s takeout only, but worth paying a visit, especially to support a small business. The service was pleasant and our order was ready for pickup within the stated time range. The portions were good for the price.
Being open on Mondays when a lot of other restaurants are closed is an added bonus.

We ordered a few dishes and everything was very tasty — it honestly felt like dining in at a restaurant. We love spicy food, but their spice level is the real deal! It’s authentically spicy, so I had to order a lower spice level than I normally would.
The owner personally cooks and prepares the food, and she is very nice, welcoming, and easy to communicate with. The Thai iced tea is also very good and worth trying!

So glad I tried this place. My husband and I were looking for a place to eat after his soccer game, we had been craving this but our usual place is in the North hills. Everything was incredible. My husband said the salad roll was the best he ever had. I wanted to scarf down my basil fried rice but I ordered it too spicy. Maybe be more humble than I was if you decide to come here. The pad see ew was the best I have had personally. The texture of the noodles and the flavor of the beef was addictive. I can’t wait to return!

Amazing Thai food! They have a huge menu and a vegan or gluten free option button on just about everything, so tons of options for those of us with dietary preferences. Some of the most flavorful Thai I have had in Pittsburgh.

We’ve had two great takeout experiences ordering from grab Thai! Pad Thai, drunken noodles, panang curry and duck curry…yum! The new owners are very kind and really seem to care. The portion of rice was a little small the first time so I asked for a bit more and it was perfect this time!
Nice portion sizes, and our meat has been perfectly cooked both times. We will be back!

I ordered the Thai fried noodles and chive dumplings. The dumplings were delicious and a really unique appetizer! I’ve never had them anywhere else and they were delicious. The noodles were really good too, but I ordered them vegan and they contained egg. I called the restaurant and they handled the situation very well. I will definitely be back!

I was given the recommendation to try Thai Grab and it did not disappoint.
The owner was very friendly as I waited for my order. The food was ready on time and delicious. I ordered fried tofu with pineapple fried rice, spring rolls, steamed dumplings and pad tai (best seller) #9 spicy.
Best flavor Thai I have had in this area.
I will be back

The food here is amazing!!!!! The flavors are so delicious. They definitely don’t mess around with the spice levels. I’ve ordered here at least 8 times and each time has been amazing. The only time we were slightly disappointed was when they didn’t have the instant ramen noodles for the pad mama. It’s definitely our favorite Thai place!

I had the red curry and it was authentic! Food was fresh and fragrant. I think this is one of the better, more authentic Thai/Asian restaurants In the area that I’ve been to. The staff was friendly, and the take out ordering process online was super simple: it included an email on estimated cook time, and text confirmation when the order was ready. The restaurant is across 19 from Trader Joe’s. Open late too.
