Wow, what a gem Juniper’s is! Found just searching for cocktail places in NKY, it did not disappoint. Greeted by Millie, who was also our server, we walked into a beautiful restaurant/bar. The whole vibe was warm and inviting — as was Millie! She was a fountain of knowledge about all of the food and drinks, and had the patience of a saint as we tried to figure out what we wanted.
My first cocktail was stunningly delicious (the Mexican Firing Squad), while my second was a custom-created martini tailored to my preferences — and it was perfection! I didn’t even know I liked martinis.
The food is tapas-style, so it’s served in small plates. But everything was delicious and very fresh. It’s fun because you can order a bunch of different things and share!
Later that evening, I couldn’t help but think that someone at Juniper’s has a palate of perfection!
I did learn that the place can be packed on weekends, especially when there is live music. A crowd isn’t really my thing, so I’ll stick to the weeknights. When I went, it wasn’t crowded, service was exceptional, and it was easy to have a conversation with friends. Highly recommend!

There was a live jazz music, but it was too loud for breakfast or brunch time. The food was average in my opinion. I had better eggs benedict at other places. Reservation is recommended.

The best cocktail bar! Came here for my birthday with a big group and it was perfect. The music was great, everyone loved their drinks, and the atmosphere and staff were lovely. 10/10 recommend Juniper!!

I went with my family because we were visiting the area from out of town and it was in walking distance from our Airbnb. If you have picky eaters, they do not have a kids menu, it’s a tapas place and they change their menu every month. The place was nice and cozy, dim lighting, and little booth nooks to eat in. They have about 230+ gin options so my hubby got the gin flight and I got the cocktail flight. Both were great. We ordered half of the menu but my favorites were the meatball and the tuna. The pita chips were AMAZING! Ethan was great and extremely knowledgeable and sweet! It was jazz night too so we enjoyed some live music after we had dinner.

One of the most perfect bar experiences I have had anywhere in the world – drinks, music (style and volume), service, atmosphere, diverse crowd, attention to detail, all of it. Totally unpretentious. Our favorite bartender is James whose trove of knowledge and genuine interest in people never fails to match you with something you didn’t know you loved, and he prepares them all with pure wizardry. The “mixology” of this place captures so much more than just the wondrous concoctions coming from behind the beautifully stocked bar.

The place has a unique atmosphere, drinks and food. They have several events that rotate through the week, all diverse and special, I had a chance to be when a jazz trio played and it was really fun. Their drinks are based on Gin and taste really good (they also have other types of drinks). The food is Mediterranean tapas, whatever we had was really good. I can’t wait to go back again 🙂

this place is fantastic. i’ve been to some of the (awarded) number one bars in the world and this place was better than all of them. Millie is a super sweet and talented mixologist and cares about her flavors! all the staff was so kind but Millie’s Sugar Loaf Mountain was one of the most unique tasting cocktails I have ever had! my friend and I could not stop talking about it. 100/10 stars.
