Very good! This is the first time I tried Dabin. I recommend the bibim bap and grilled zucchini stuffed with beef. The beef and scallion soup was pretty good but not my favorite.

Dabin is our go-to restaurant! My son and his family have eaten at Japanese-Korean restaurants all over the world and declare Dabin to have the best and freshest food with the most varied menu. When I tell my daughter, who lives in Maine, that we’re ordering from Dabin, she says “I’m so jealous!” Our out-of-town vegetarian friends love it. All of our international friends love the tatami room as well as the bulgogi tables. The atmosphere is very quiet with very pleasing background music. You do not hear conversations of other patrons and it’s fun to watch the children of the many families who eat here. The staff is consistently friendly, personable, and professional. Now, during the pandemic, we order out from Dabin and the food is ready for pick-up in no more than 25 minutes. And still good and hot when we sit down to eat. Lunch and dinner, all excellent!

I visit Dabin at least twice per month for lunch. The Japanese/Korean menu is varied. They have fish, and it is always very fresh! The service is professional and friendly. Waitress Annie is fantastic. Kay is great as well. If your lucky you will be served a mochi dessert on the house! Great lunch pricing. Can’t wait to go back.

The complimentary starters were nice although the veggie tempura tasted like it had been laying around for a while. It was hard as a rock. I got the spicy salmon roll which I did not enjoy. You know it’s not good when you can taste the mayo in the spicy “sauce”. The tuna/avocado roll was average. I would not go back.

Consistent good quality food. The service is quick and efficient. The two sushi chefs create great presentations of the items on the menu and the fish is fresh. The kalbi BBQ is well seasoned and is always fun to cook by the BBQ stations.

Went here for the very first time even though I’ve lived in Lexington for many years. The service was very attentive. The food was fabulous. Evidently, the restaurant grows it’s own vegetables on the patio at the front of the restaurant. It was too early in the season for much planting, but there were some lettuces already growing in some of the tubs.

Visited Dabin, restaurant had an over powering fish smell, even back at the tables. I eat sushi quite a bit, Other places that do sushi dont have that smell. But the sushi was good and fresh. I also ordered bulgogi, which I’ve ordered from other Korean restaurants and I thought it lacked flavor and was over priced for what it is. Service was ok… in hindsight, I would keep looking for dinner options.

I really like this place and the food- Its so easy, the food is good and the staff are nice. I love the Bento boxes and the Bim Bim Bap (so so good!)
We also rented one of the private rooms and had a birthday party in here and it was so much fun. We had a great served, gallon size saki bottles and delicious food.
We will definitely come back but the owners need to get engaged with the Lexington community – they would find a lot more customers coming if they cared.

My favorite place in Lexington center.
I really enjoy the food at Dabin, whether I get the sushi, BBQ or other Korean dishes. The place is quite spacious and I have not (yet) had to wait to be seated. The prices are comparable to what you will find in the area, but still on the reasonable side (IMHO).
One of my favorite dish is the Kimchi Pajung (kimchi + seafood pancake), which is great appetizer for 2-4 people.

Sashimi bibimbap is my favorite here! And I could eat thousands of their fish cake appetizer because it’s so good. I’ve been eating at Dabin since I was a toddler. I’ve always loved their waterfall statues, pottery, and their tatami-style rooms. Since COVID, they’ve been doing take-out and I still always order sashimi bibimbap, just to go now instead.
