Rarely on this side of town but had heard about these guys. If your familiar with The Rolling Stoves and the excellent burgers and fries there than you will love this small but mighty taco spot. The reason I mention the stoves is because Peace Tacos is owned by the same man who started stoves. I can only vouch for 2 items on the menu since it was my first time. The chips and queso (If they offer it I have to get it) and the Birria Tacos. Wow. The queso was nice and smooth as far as how it coated the chip perfectly. Its not too thin or too thick in consistency. Its just right. Its not over salted or overseasoned. The cheese and mild poblano peppers are the main flavors, as they should be. The chips are the thick dark yellow, not over greasy resturaunt style. You can taste that they are fried in house and just a light seasoning of salt. The two Birria Tacos and consume flavor bombed my mouth like a meaty cheesy and savory flavor explosion. The tortilla had a great crisp from the flat top and had the little “caramelized crunchy cheese islands” on them. The beef was top quality with zero clumps of fat. All beef baby. Highly recommended.

Very nice place, friendly and pleasant staff. Extremely fast turnaround from when I walked in the door to out the door (I placed carry out). Food was fantastic. Prices were within reason. Will certainly be returning soon.

The chips and queso were the standout for me at Peace Tacos because the queso tasted fresh and not fake/velveeta-y. I tried the Quesa-birria and grilled chicken tacos. I liked that the Quesa-Birria came with a little consumé dipping sauce (I jist would have liked it to be a bit more seasoned). The beef was tender and the cilantro gave it a nice flavor. I also had a grilled chicken tacos which had a nice cilantro crema sauce – that, along with the finely diced tomatoes were a great pairing with the chicken. I would probably order both chicken next time. My husband had the Rock-n-Rye Carnitas, and thought the pork was tasty.

Peace Tacos absolutely blew me away. The ROCK’N’RYE CARNITAS tacos were hands down the best tacos I’ve ever eaten—perfectly tender, flavorful carnitas with an incredible balance of bold, creative flavors that hit on every bite. It’s the kind of taco you keep thinking about long after the plate is empty.
The nachos were just as impressive—loaded, fresh, and packed with flavor, not an afterthought like they are at so many places.
We were also given an order of Peace Bites for the table, and they were fantastic—crispy, shareable, and absolutely worth it. They disappeared fast.

Stopped here for a quick lunch and loved the food! The quesabirria taco was really good and properly filled with toppings. I also had their special burger taco and it was delicious. The green sauce was amazing! Highly recommend getting it as a dipping side for anything on the menu. Staff were friendly and food came out quickly. Happy to have a quality taco joint so close to home!

We know they just opened recently so decided to try them for lunch today with a carry-out order. We ordered online without issue and received everything ordered. We tried the nachos (delicious), Peace Bites (tater tots, also crunchy & yummy), Fish Taco (will order again!) and a Rock’n’Rye Carnitas Taco. We loved the rock n rye braised meat and will definitely get that again. None of the food was spicy but still had great flavor. Overall, this is a place we’ll be eating at again. Delicious lunch! Welcome to the neighborhood.

Walked in and had quick service. Menu is simple (which I appreciate) and they have a little cooler for beverages. You order at the register and they bring the food out to you. Food was very yummy & the queso was sooooo good!!! Highly recommend ♥️ Also, loved the vibes of the decor!
