We had the croquettes as an appetizer which were so delicious. We shared the tortellini and the short rib entrees. The short rib melted in our mouth!
Great selection of cocktails and mocktails with an extensive/high quality bar.
Will definitely be back
Our server was Joe and he helped us choosing our dishes from the new Spring/Summer menu. He was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and ingredients.
Here’s everything we ordered:
Oysters
House Made Ricotta Board
Grilled Octopus
Ahi Tuna Tostada
Crab Cake Sandwich
Crispy Fish Tacos
Chicken Milanese
Poached Pear
Bread Pudding
Everything was to die for!! The menu is crafted by Executive Chef Carlos Cartagena and celebrates the vibrant flavors of Spring & Summer and Randall’s Restaurant has earned a 2025 OpenTable Diner’s Choice Award.
This is a high-quality dining experience with gorgeous views of their golf course. What a perfect spot for the summer time and I can’t wait to go back for more delicious food.
This was my first time visiting Randall’s bar and I definitely will be back. I think I was the first patron of the day, so I decided to sit at the bar because there was nobody at the host area to greet me to get a table. I was extremely happy with my choice to do so.
The bartender, Melissa, who was about to come around out from behind the bar to seat me at a table, greeted me immediately & took great care of me, the other guests at the bar and the rest of the restaurant also. I wasn’t sure at the time, if the restaurant and/or building was severely short staffed this particular day, now that I think about there isn’t any other explanation. I observed Melissa, doing soo much more than bartending and serving throughout my stay, greeting&seating patrons that came in, who were walking up to what I perceive was supposed to be the host area, juggling and answering multiple phones, constantly helping servers, bringing drinks she made to tables, she was also unboxing large boxes of what seemed to be liquor that got dropped off & helping move a large amount furniture into the beautiful large dining area, all while keeping a pristine, tightly run bar and making sure the people at the bar were taken care of to a T. I was really amazed at all the tasks and other jobs she was able to take on, within the hour or two I was there, all with a great personality&smile on her face. I told her that if I ran a a hospitality business, she would be the first pick for my team.
It was so wonderful and refreshing, to have such an upbeat genuine and pleasant interaction at a restaurant, which seems hard to come by recently.
As I was looking for a winter type of drink, Melissa helped me narrow down to the chai espresso martini, and with total certainty, it was the best espresso martini I’ve ever had! I decided on the burger for lunch, after she brought it out to me, she checked a few bites in and I explained to her, it was delicious and a perfect medium well. Compliments and a big thank you to the extremely hardworking, Melissa for providing a fantastic hospitable dining experience to everyone who entered Randall’s that afternoon, along with myself. I also cannot forget to thank the chefs for great food!
But let’s talk about the food…
Apps: calamari. This was okay. Slightly under seasoned but had a nice light crust and fresh tomato dipping sauce
Pastas: we got the blush ravioli and the pesto gnocchi. The gnocchi was by far one of my favorite bites! Soo flavorful. Also ravioli was very good and not overly creamy
Entrees: we got the fish and tomahawk. The fish unfortunately was slightly undercooked, but the server was quick to change that and replace with a fresh dish. Tomahawk was perfectly cooked and had the most incredible flavor. 10/10!!!
Dessert: we then finished with the skillet cookie and an espresso martini. Both made to perfection
Next time I’m in that area would definitely go back again to try more of their dishes. Besides the fish situation, the dishes were delicious and beautifully presented.
The service was just as impressive. The staff was incredibly attentive, professional, and welcoming throughout the entire experience. We had the pleasure of being served by Regina, who was especially sweet, kind, and very well-mannered. She made us feel comfortable, valued, and well taken care of. Her attentiveness truly elevated our visit.
Overall, it was an amazing dining experience. We will definitely be returning and cannot wait to explore more items on the menu.⭐️
To my surprise, there was a gentleman on the piano, and he performed well. The only thing the music was a little loud, making it hard for me to talk to my buddies.
I ordered an old fashioned and it was great, but it lacked only one thing, a single ice cube.
The bar area hard four large TVs put together as one large screen. That was a nice touch.
The vibes represented an older golfer club mixed with a newly renovated restaurant. The decor stood out, giving a modern feel. The high ceilings also made the restaurant stunning.
I ordered a classic French onion to start. The base was so good, and I was not disappointed. For my main course, I ordered the Chicken piccata ($28). I would rank it a 6.2.
My buddy ordered the surf and turf. I tasted the steak and it needed a little more seasoning in my opinion. And my other buddy ordered a burger and he said it was delicious.
Overall, this place is amazing. Yes. It offers great views, and great service. So hard to find the quality of service we experienced here compared to anywhere else in south NJ.
Will come again.
