Best pie crust ever my goodness I haven’t had a pie that good in a long time I would drive all the way from Cape Cod just to pick up another.

This place used to be great, but the last four or five times I stopped by during breakfast hours, they were closed. Not only closed, but there were people inside clearly making food. And when I did get inside the owner, as well as the only other worker in there were very standoffish. It seemed like someone’s house that i wasn’t welcome in. Food is great tho….

Great employees, good food, and excellent, New England small town atmosphere inside and outside store. There is also a beautiful lake to hang out at and a walking bridge that goes over the lake/dam located directly behind the general store/bakery.

We stopped as we were passing through town. Am sure they have some good products in there, but we did not have a good lunch experience.
1) we stopped 20 minutes before closing time on Sunday (1pm) and were told the only thing they had to offer was pre-made sandwiches. Really? You don’t make fresh sandwiches at the end of the day?
This aside…
2) they had 3 chicken Caesar wraps and 1 chicken BLT wrap remaining in their coolers, all of which we bought for our family of four. The food was bland and dry. There was no mayo or sauces like Caesar dressing on any of the sandwiches.
3) we also purchased store baked peanut butter cookies which proved to be very dry and only mildly peanut butter flavored.
The potato chips and Joe’s tea we bought were well liked, but those were packaged goods that could have been purchased at any gas station.
So…meh?

We stopped by this place on our way to Arcadia tru New Hampshire and highly recommend visiting this bakery, it smells so fresh; something that we needed on our 11 day road trip. The best breakfast ever, also try their blueberry danish. We had some there and took few as to go.

We just went and had brunch. Delicious homemade biscuits with sausage gravy, scrambled eggs, corn beef hash, and crispy bacon. All you can eat. They had pancakes, French toast, sausage patties, fruit, yogurt…. I mean, come on, can’t beat it. Thank you for yet another awesome experience.

So glad I stopped in here when I saw the sign from the road!! The staff / owner were so sweet and friendly. The energy when you walk in the door just feels good. I got a breakfast sandwich and it was the best one I’ve had in a long time. I can’t remember what style the bagels are (Montreal?) but I think that’s what made the sandwich stand out. I’ll be back 😀
