GUATEMALA (via Eat the World Los Angeles) – Dining in is the move here, so sit down at one of their six four tops. Their is a video menu board above the kitchen, but the staff will probably bring you a real menu before you can decide what to eat. Taking a look at other tables, you will see big combination plates with hungry souls hunched over them, or bowls of steaming caldos, and most definitely chicken or pork tamales ($3.50).

Tried the chapin breakfast it’s good and also the tamale with pork. If you order by phone to pick it up, it’s better. But if you do want to eat inside the resteraunt, you will need to wait for a while.

The plato familiar is soooooo gooood you get a little bit of everything and definitely try the rellenitas . Also the service here is super tentative, and if you need snacks etc. They gotchu! They even have the imported pollo campero ketchup on deck as well as pan dulce and some supplements

I was here yesterday with my family the servers are so kind and great. The food tasted amazing and service was fast it was all so authentic and great tasting. The prices are amazing you can’t beat them. I’d come here several times more. I highly recommend

The last straw was i recently ordered tamales for a work get together. Explaining tht i would be there shortly as i live 50 mins away. … showed up .. lady said she sold them and not even apologetic…. nver again

The food was okay but what was more disappointing was the service!
We went in on Sunday and it took 44 minutes to get a PAN CON FRIJOLES! There were four of us and we ordered coffee and easy breakfast plates.
As I was looking around I noticed 3 or 4 ladies working in the kitchen at a really slow pace and just chatting. I was really annoyed because they showed no interest that there was a full dining room and I didn’t see anyone really supervising the staff.!
There was only ONE waitress so we tried not to give her a hard time when she kept forgetting things like forks, spoons, napkins, the bill….
Not coming back until they improve the service.
NOTE TO OWNER: Please staff your restaurant properly especially on a busy Sunday morning
