I was staying in the area and came here with a couple of friends for dinner. This place is soo cute! Carol, the owner was so kind. She talked to us, asked us how the meal and everything was. She even gave us homemade butter cookies. Everyone here was so kind and welcoming. Our waitress was spectacular, although I forget her name. Just a phenomenal experience. We got a bottle of wine for the table, and I ordered steak fries, it was delicious, even the side salad was amazing. Thank you for the exceptional experience. Hope to be back soon!

First and last time visiting this place. Thank you to those who recommended The Pourhouse Neighborhood Bar & Grill — it’s actually a nice spot, good food, good service, and absolutely no racism, just how it should be.
Unfortunately, my experience at the restaurant I’m reviewing here was completely different. I walked in with my husband and my baby in a carrier. When I asked the server for a table, she told me, “Wait a second.” Then a man approached me (not sure if he was the host). At 6 PM, She told us they had no space available. I clarified that we were there for dinner, and She repeated that there was “no space” and no reservations available, not even at the bar.
The photos speak for themselves — the restaurant, including the upper section, was nearly empty at that time. Yet, they still recommended we go to another restaurant further down the road.
At first I didn’t understand what was happening. This had never happened to us before. We’re from NYC, so I was honestly shocked. My husband just said, “Let’s go to the other place… I told you sometimes it’s like that around here.” That made the situation even clearer.
Overall, it was a disgusting experience, and if you’re Hispanic or Latino, please be aware — this may not be a welcoming place.

Went to Butter for my husband’s birthday. The food was delicious, the staff were very pleasant and the atmosphere was cozy. Everything we had was delicious and was made with care. Had kids with us and they enjoyed as well. Server was even willing to give half portions for kids as there is no kids menu. The ultimate service was them giving my husband a complimentary birthday dessert just from me noting we were celebrating in our OpenTable reservation. Overall excellent in all ways and would definitely return.

I have so many good things to say about this restaurant! Ambiance is so cozy and really well decorated – we went in late October near Halloween. The service is really friendly. Then most importantly, the food is superb. Fresh ingredients and a creative menu. Also, they have a really diverse list of mocktails for non-drinking folks like me to enjoy. One of the best in the Poconos!

We enjoyed an exceptional dining experience, with the cozy atmosphere and pleasant staff adding to our delight. The food, particularly the steak, was delicious and exceeded our expectations, and although the apple pudding dessert was cold in the middle, its outstanding quality led us to eat it anyway.

One of the best restaurants I have been to in my life. We were lucky enough to go twice, and I’m so glad they could fit us in a second time!
The service was excellent, and the ambiance was very cozy. Everything was delicious from the fresh bread at the beginning to dessert at the end.
Favorite dish was the pot roast, which was a special for the week.
Highly recommend the flourless chocolate cake for dessert with the berry sauce and whipped cream. It is a perfect combination of flavors.

WOW! Impeccable food at this cozy and local Poconos gem. Our table ordered the fig and prosciutto flatbread to split and the appetizer brought a vibrant mix of sweet, and savory delight. The house made bread was fresh, hot, and flavorful. We ordered the butter burger, crab pasta, horseradish crusted salmon, and the shrimp dish. Everyone in our party were beyond satisfied. The weekly desserts the chef creates were delicious. We will recommend this establishment to anyone passing through – although honestly, this restaurant is worth a trip to visit.

We were a large party of 11 that dined here for the first time. They gave us a private room in the back for our party. The food was delicious, service wonderful all combined with a nice atmosphere. A very nice enjoyable meal was had by all. Our server Molly was very patient and attentive to everyone’s needs and provided prompt service. Restaurant is conveniently located 15 minutes from the Mount Airy Casino Resort.
PS: Upon leaving we had a chance to meet and talk to the chef, an extra special touch to and very special night.

My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this GEM while visiting this area for a few nights. I can’t recommend it enough!
The Cesar salad is the best I’ve ever had and that dressing is perfection. Their mocktail selection was creative and delicious!
Other favorites would be their house bread, the smashed chicken sandwich and the falafel crusted salmon. Needless to say this is some of the best food we’ve ever eaten.
The vibes are cozy and the staff is incredibly warm and helpful. Can’t wait to come back and try some of their dessert! Thanks for the hospitality!
