I enjoy the steaks, but lately I’ve explored the full menu. My go to is Ahi Tuna, Side Cesar Salad, Lamb, Roasted Brussel sprouts in Thai chili, usually with a crème brûlée to finish it off. After I walk over to the Gurkah lounge have a nice cigar with a nice scotch or cognac neat. It’s been a great way to simply get lost and relax with my friends when I get in from offshore. Of course there are some secrets I refuse to share that make the experience better, but with some effort you can unlock those perks.

Love this place! The food is excellent ! Bartender was awesome! Went there Tuesday for lunch but took it to go! Didn’t even have to wait too long! Pasta is to die for! Fried chicken sandwich was the best! Steak frites was so good I will definitely be back!;;

Food was good and servers were very personable. Loved their New Zealand lamb chops and chef was kind enough to make it bit spicy for me.

Brittany excels as a server. Anticipates the customer desires, very cordial and patient with us senior people. As a hostess, very knowledgeable in her job. Always upbeat. Displays an expertise in her field. She is a credit to this restaurant which in itself far exceeded our expectations. Steaks are out of this world.

I had the two jumbo deep-fried soft shell crabs with lettuce, tomato and mayo on a french bread roll with pommes frite. Simply outstanding.

Bogarts was the worst supposedly “fine dining” experience I have had in at least 10 years.
Waited 15 minutes at the unmanned host station to be seated. Table had to be “cleared”; the place was 1/4 to 1/3 full.
Bread was unavailable after first basket, following ridiculous extended bread “presentation”.
One guest had to have order “compted” because it was NOT entered with others by waitress. Then they added cost back on bill.
Attentiveness of staff was horrible.
Food went cold as we waited for delivery of forgotten order. Al together an absolutely terrible experience. DON’T GO!!!!! Zero stars.

The atmosphere is nice as it is a waterfront restaurant. As far as the food goes, it depends on what you order. The scallops were large and cooked perfectly. The shrimp and Grits were not the usual. The grit cakes were fried and not tasty. There wasn’t much shrimp on the plate. It is like going to a place that gives you a single nacho chip and puts the ingredients on the chip instead of piling it on top of the chips. If you are staying at the hotel, it is convenient to dine here, but I wouldn’t make a special trip to eat there.
