Good hot shrimp! Order 1 lb to share or eat them all yourself! This small restaurant doesn’t look like much, but it will surprise you with quality. The catfish fillet was fried hot, wasn’t oily, and tasted fantastic! Take the food to go or there is a single picnic table so you can converse with strangers.

The shrimp and catfish were battered and cooked to perfection. We will stop by here any time we find ourselves nearby in the future. We were passing through town on our way back from helping with the hurricane disaster cleanup in Florida, and the family that runs this restaurant tried to give us our meals for free (we were able to talk them down to free deserts and drinks). Please support this great restaurant, run by great people who happen to be great chefs!
