First of all, we wondered why there were no cars in the parking lot when we pulled up today, use to be, you couldn’t get near the place.
That was the worst food my wife and I have had in a long time! We were looking forward to spending what little extra cash we had on a nice meal for a change, together, and instead we paid a lot of money for lobster bisque and lobster mac and cheese. If it wasn’t for the hoards of flies we kept batting into our plates there wouldn’t have been any meat at all in these dishes. No lobster! The waitress was cool, you can’t blame her for this.
Snows used to be a fine restaurant; don’t know what happened. But, if you want to spend $60 dollars for nothing, go for it.
I’ve lived here all my life, I am 58 and have enjoyed many fine meals at Snow’s Restaurant in Ware, don’t know what happened. I hear there was a change in ownership in 2012; don’t eat there if you don’t want to be very very disappointed.

PS: if you want awesome lobster mac and cheese or awesome seafood entrees, go to Steaming Tender in Palmer, MA, which is just a little bit down the road from Snow’s on Rt 32. At least you’ll get what you pay for here!
We went there two weeks ago and the food was the best i had ever had!
you could tell they put extra effort in amount of food and presentation.
the place could use an overhaul but the food is why everyone goes.
We started with the Lobster Rangoons (very tasty). My husband had fish and chips (the best he’s had in a long time. Coffee was hot and fresh. My son and I had the small plate of shrimp scampi. (small? -) I’ve never had so many good sized shrimp even in a full size plate elsewhere. There were between 20/30 shrimp. (very tasty) My son also had the small buffalo grilled chicken salad .He thought it was very good.
For dessert. (we were celebrating our son’s 19th Birthday) I had strawberry shortcake. It was huge. One bisquit cut in half stacked in the middle was a lot of vanilla ice cream and lot of fresh tasting sliced strawberries with whipped cream on top. My husband had a hot fudge sundae – again large and stacked . And our son had the brownie fudge sundae . again large and stacked.
The waitress was so pleasant and bubbly , that she made for a very enjoyable evening.
She even put a candle on our son’s dessert and sang Happy Birthday . She was really terrific .
So the food was very good (we’ll surely be back to try the Prime Rib and steaks)
The service was wonderful.
I only gave it a 4 star , because this was our 1st ( but not last ) time there and we need to try different items on the menu to see how they are.
Edit! Thus place is now closed and soon to be a wicked wings location ! Cant wait
Very disappointed.
Menu is also VERY limited. I do not think we will be going back.
Even tho food is good
