Overall pretty underwhelmed by the
experience of our Valentines Day dinner. We order the calamari and the drunken clams as appetizers. The calamari was Over cooked and chewy and the clams where tasty but nothing special. Drinks were good but very gimmicky. Service was slow and we would have gotten more drinks but attention to our table was very limited. I finished my water half way through dinner and they never refilled my glass.

Our service was odd very slow for how not that busy they were. We had 2 servers a male and female one. The male server was personable and we connected with him instantly. Wehad a great time with him! When one of the wines we ordered was delayed the female waitress spoke very negative about the male server IN FRONT OF US. My wife and I defended the server and later on in the evening they were both at our table and she proceeded to talk about the negative experience with us In front of the male waiter. This made us feel very uncomfortable.

My wife order the Bolagnese for dinner which was excellent definitely recommend. I ordered the steak medium rare and from the picture you can see it came well done. They did replace the steak and when it came a second time it was a passing medium. The side asparagus and side potatoes were tasty. I loved there steak sauce and there peppercorn sauce!

We declined to have dessert because of our overall experience and just wanted to leave. Our meal in total was 3 drinks 2 apps 1 salad 2 desserts and 2 sides which came to $250 + tip. This was very over priced for our service and quality of food which was just not there for us.

In conclusion, our experience was not what we wanted for this special occasion and was disappointing. Wont be giving it a second chance anytime soon. They didn’t offer to make anything right for my steak comming out incorrect or the negative confrontation.

One of the most exquisite meals I’ve ever had, I do not use the term hidden gem Lightly, but this really is a hidden Gem at , the shore!

You can get anything you want from steak and lobster, to some crazy spicy rigatoni vodka this place has something for everyone. But for me, the show is in the drinks! Each cocktail was more beautiful and delicious than the last.

And if you’re really trying to impress your date, get the large charcuterie, trust me

My boyfriend and I decided to have a date night here and it was great. Food was delicious, ambience was gorgeous, and overall was a good experience. Our waitress, Lisa, was an absolute doll. Very personable and also knowledgeable about the menu. Highly recommend and we will be back!

The moment we walked in, we knew our experience was going to be exceptional. The entire staff made us feel welcome.
The cocktails were on point, the food was delicious, and the service was excellent. Our server, Chris aka Denzel Washington was friendly and on top of his game. Even the bus boys were great.
The atmosphere was spectacular and there was live entertainment.
Pricing was reasonable for the quality of food.
Don’t miss this one.
Looking forward to our next visit.

✨ Fabulous Dinner at the New Tradewinds Restaurant & Bar, Point Pleasant Beach, N.J.✨

June 9 we had the most incredible dinner at the brand-new Tradewinds Restaurant at the The White Sands Oceanfront Resort & Spa! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by warm, friendly staff, and the décor was so stylish and inviting!

The food? Absolutely amazing. Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented.
• The meatball appetizer with ricotta and garlic bread was so good, even our friend — who’s known for his own legendary meatballs — was thoroughly impressed.
• The lobster bisque was creamy, silky, and rich.
• We asked for sautéed calamari instead of breaded, and they graciously accommodated us — it came out in a delicious sauce and was perfect.
• My friend raved that the salmon was the best she’s ever had.
• My pork chop with potatoes, hot peppers, and onions was out of this world.
• The tuna was perfectly cooked, and the Paccheri chicken dish was to die for.

We were blown away by the generous portions — we were so full we couldn’t even think about dessert (but we’re sure it’s just as amazing).

The ambiance is just as impressive as the food — very Instagrammable, with a chic bar and super comfy chairs. Service was impeccable, our waiter was attentive and friendly and the manager even stopped by a few times to check in — a really nice touch.

Though this was only their soft opening, they absolutely nailed it.

We visited again last week and it was equally as delicious and service was impeccable.

We went last night with a party of four. Everyone’s face immediately lit up with all the pretty decor and Christmas lights. We were seated immediately and had super fun and attentive service. Nobody waited for a thing the whole night. Our appetizers were calamari and drunken clams that came out promptly together and both were so tasty. We had penne vodka, chicken parm, and short ribs and everyone loved their dish. Bonus points to our server who felt like a friend and helped us choose our food and drinks as it was all our first time. The cocktails were all delicious and playful from sparkly sugar rims to toasted marshmallows that you blow out yourself. My favorite was the sugar plum fairy, but don’t miss the crystal ball which is swirling with glitter and a giant smoked bubble on top. From reading past reviews it seems like they have had time now to perfect food and service. Don’t skip a nightcap in the bourbon lounge it was a very cute vibe in there with comfy couches and it’s connected to the game room of the hotel so being able to shoot a game of pool is a nice touch. We will definitely be back.

I wanted this place to be great. There’s been so many restaurants inside White Sands that didn’t make it – it’s a weird location being on land side of Ocean a bit off beaten path.

The initial vibe seems cool – lots of fake plants and flowers to give a jungle or tropical feel. But the instagram veneer gives way to weird choices. Club trance music that goes on and off randomly. A cocktail list with pictures of fancy drinks that then look nothing like what comes out. A menu that leans all over the place like a drunken sailor – steaks? Italian? Bread that comes out in pre-oiled slices. Wine bottles that are uncorked unseen rather than at table in front of you.

The food was ok with exception of my porkchop which was way too salty. I think they brined and then added a lot more salt during cooking. Almost inedible but I powered through.

I realize this is a new restaurant but they need a lot more refining and training at the prices they are charging. At this point it’s meh.

This restaurant was average and definitely over priced. I got the salmon and it was $41. It came with a side of vegetables, no starch. It was slightly over cooked and was supposed to be pistachio encrusted. It didn’t taste like there was any pistachio at all, just a weird breading.
My husband got the beaf tournados, they were pretty good but overpriced, $64. his came with a side of vegetables and mashed potatoes which were very good.
We split the beet said and that was ok.

The atmosphere looks nicer in their social media video. Disappointed that It was not located in their main hotel, which sits directly on the beach, it was across the street in their other hotel.

I don’t think we would return
