Such a gem! They have very unique coffee drinks. My current favorite is the Pure Bliss, although the Wizard is also amazing. Hot or iced, the drinks do not disappoint. There is a cute book store upstairs, and the overall decor and atmosphere are great. I love that people can leave notes in the walls as well!

Such a unique menu of drinks. Definitely come here in the warmer months and sit in their back patio — it’s giving fairy garden. Just such a cozy and welcoming atmosphere for all people ❤️

Better lattes than any chain- a little more spendy, but you get what you pay for.
They roast their own beans which makes all the difference. Staff is friendly and hosts community nights for book clubs, connections, and crafts.
Extra bonus points for being queer friendly in the North Metro
Check out the bookshop up the stairs, they’re also amazing.

The coffee is absolutely amazing! But don’t be expecting to purchase food while you’re there. All they had to offer was stale scones, tiny muffins and breads.

My favorite local coffee shop. The menu is simple but scrumptious. In-house made dishes that exceed expectations. Try the breakfast sandwich, fluffyest dang eggs I’ve ever seen. This time I tried the Turtle coffee, and it was fabulous. Staff is friendly, hard working, and efficient.

Also, a place that cares about the community. They have a free coffee option if you are on hard times.

Metta Coffee is a true gem in Anoka! The coffee and espresso are delicious, the space is welcoming and inclusive, and the monthly specialty drinks are always super creative. If the weather permits, there’s a magical outdoor patio space in the back. It’s absolutely worth spending a little more to support this amazing local spot over a big chain. Highly recommend! I’m a weekly visitor (or more) to read, work or visit with friends.

I’m not sure why the lady at the register had to stick her finger in my face 3 times in order to take my order. I’m new at ordering coffee here, and she made sure I knew it. I felt intimidated and threatened at how she invaded my space and corrected how I spoke. I was just trying to support this local business. She seemed very frustrated and got me frustrated as well. – This happened on Saturday Sept 20th at about 11 am

This place is the perfect vibe for anyone! Inclusive and environmentally friendly. Sad to see they are struggling a little with the high costs of everything. Support this business if you can — they deserve it!! Food and coffee was delicious!

Great place! Chill, queer-friendly atmosphere. Visited here a couple days ago on a recommendation from a friend and ordered a double shot of espresso, the in house cups are so cute! Good luck with everything (:

super friendly staff but the prices are outrageous! wanted to get a large drink but saw that they were charging over $9 for a flavored latte! ended up paying over $8 for a medium iced drink off the menu, not even customized. didn’t really taste like anything special either. will stick to my usual starbucks from now on. which sucks because i really liked the atmosphere and staff.
