The food here is very tasty and flavorful. The service was great! I believe they are going to do great things. I will come back.
Update: We came back, and Lucky was the best. The food was even better. We will return! We were treated like family. All the staff was helpful, kind, and caring.

I have eaten a lot of Indian food in different cities and countries and this place is a gem to have in Decatur. The food is not only appetizing but also the presentation is great. The naan was crispy and flavorful, the dal was great, the tandoori wings were excellent (fall off the bone chicken unlike any wings I have ever had). My favorite dish was the mattar/mutter paneer, great flavor! Would highly recommend going to Rasoi.

10/10!!! SOOOOO GOOD!!! Some of the best food I have ever eaten. We got chefs special Naan, chicken 65, and vegetable samosas as Appetizers. My husband ordered butter chicken and I had the chicken vindaloo. Every single disg was absolutely delicious. The flavors! The spices! I cannot say enough good things. They also gave us complimentary rice pudding. And the prices incredible as well. For all this food it was around $60. The service was wonderful as well. Everyone was kind, attentive, and friendly. This was my first time having authentic Indian food and I am 100% in love. We will definitely be back to try more dishes!

First time eating here. Came in on Sunday for dinner. Walked in and no wait. Mango Lassi was refreshing. Tandoori mixed grill kebab was good. Naan was good. Chicken saag was good. Navaratan (vegetarian) korma was delicious! Definitely coming back here again!

WOW! This place is amazing, best chicken tikka masala I’ve ever had (and there were some great Indian restaurants we frequented back in the Austin, TX area), and the chicken curry was also fantastic, as well as the gobi and garlic naan. So flavorful and delicious.
We ordered medium spice level (just to be safe), and it was perfect, not gonna hurt you but you can feel it spice. We’ll probably bump it up a level next time, but glad to know that for once we didn’t have to max out the spice level to feel/taste something, which has unfortunately been the experience at most other restaurants in this town.
This is now easily one of my fave places to eat in town and we will be returning frequently. Love love LOVE.

The food was extremely authentic and delicious. Definitely HIGHLY recommend. We ordered both a sweet and mango lassi for drinks, samosas and paneer for appetizers accompanying both regular and garlic naan bread, lamp vindaloo and chicken tikka masala for entrees, and rice kheer for dessert – all were very delicious.
For their spice scaling I would rebrand it to this: 1 – very mild, 2 – mild, 3 – medium, 4 – hot, 5 – very hot, 6 – for sure crying. Basically, whatever you see for their spice level do a minus one to it for safety.
Service was excellent; only recommendation I would add is to put brief descriptions of the dishes on the menu for people to read.
The price per entree was between $10-15 so keep that in mind as well. Appetizers, drinks, and desserts were between $4-8 each.

This is a casual atmosphere. We enjoyed the vegetable samosas a lot. They were our favorite part of the meal. The garlic naan had a lot of garlic flavor. We enjoyed it, but next time we are going to try the regular naan. We ordered the chicken kadai and the chicken khorma. Both were very good. I enjoyed the kadai with the onions and peppers and a more chunky sauce. My husband enjoyed the khorma. It has a smoother, creamy sauce. We did spice levels two and three. Both levels were spicy but not too spicy. The two was not spicy enough for my husband and he said next time he would do a level four. We are excited to bring our kids here to try more menu items. Thanks for a great meal.

The atmosphere is average for the location, the service has only one lady to take care of everything, so, you might have to wait at times. The food is eatable, but it doesn’t taste like real Indian food. I don’t know if it’s the quality of the ingredients or of the cook, but it’s just not yummy. The chicken tikka masala tasted like ketchup, and the chicken mushroom had way too much fat on it. Also, it didn’t taste authentic Indian either. Something is amiss.

Absolutely delicious food! We ordered 5 entrees and the vegetable samosas, and shared them. Everyone was very happy with the flavors and the amount of food. We were visiting Decatur, but I definitely would go out of my way to eat Rasoi’s food again. Plenty of excellent vegan options as well.

I started going to this place approx a year ago and I absolutely loved every dish I tried! No matter whether I dined in or delivered the food always came piping hot and tasted great and never upset my stomach.
The past 3 or 4 times I’ve ordered here that has not been the case. The last time we ate there was a dine in roughly 2 weeks ago and the food did not come out piping hot it was hardly warm. Then while eating it you could tell that it was poor quality cuts of chicken compared to past experiences, had a lot of ligaments and was chewy rather than being tender. Then my GF, her daughter, and I all experienced horrible stomach aches after eating here.
It reminded me of when I bought a similar dish from Kroger in the frozen food isle. It tasted good just like the dishes from this restaurant did but you paid for it shortly after.
I’ll give it another try in a month and I will update this review then.
