The Well was an all-around fantastic experience. We tried the clarified margarita and it was perfectly balanced—smooth, refreshing, and really well crafted. The tuna carpaccio was another highlight—such a unique dish with incredible flavor and presentation. Everything felt thoughtful and elevated without being pretentious. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was attentive and friendly from start to finish. Great food, great drinks, and a great vibe—can’t wait to come back and try more.

Hands down the best brunch in Pensacola! The chef, Rusty, has a true passion for his food and it really shows… he even came out to our table and was so personable. I had the biscuits and gravy, my husband had the croissant Sammy, and we shared the most incredible pancakes. Everything was made with fresh, high-quality ingredients and so much care. We’ll definitely be back!

Chef Rusty does it again! Everyone needs to rush here as soon as possible! We got there around 11:30, several tables available, order at the bar then they deliver everything to the table and so come check if need refills etc. The staff were excellent and just the right amount of attentive. I enjoyed the key lime pancakes, I have no idea how he makes them so soft, the potatoes had a sauce on them that was divine! My mother for the avocado bello toast topped with Parmesan eggs, it was huge and she said fabulous! My Fiance ordered the deluxe sandwich on a croissant, so flavorful and soft! I’m telling you there should be a line out the door! I cannot wait to go back and enjoy the dinner service.
Update: I had to come add the photos from Chef Rusty’s Farm to Table dinner.

Our experience here was really lousy! Walked in on a Friday night after dinner next door, not too many people in the place. The atmosphere is good – they have a nice space. We grabbed a couch, and noticed the sign saying to go order from the bar. First red flag – no service to our seats. Ok, so head to the bar – 3 people behind the bar as I approach to order. And I wait, and wait, and wait to even be acknowledged. Finally one guy makes eye contact, but doesn’t say a word. I give him a look and ASK him if I can order!! I ask if they have any port wine – he doesn’t know but will ask. More time goes by and a either manager or more experienced person comes and says, “well, we don’t have that – I mean we do outside but not here.” Outside I ask? What does that even mean? Can you just bring it inside and sell it to me? “No, when we serve it inside we only use it for pouring over other drinks.” Huh? Ok, then can you make a chocolate martini (wife’s second choice). No. Ok, just give me red wine. California red wine that’s mediocre at best, $11. Ok. Sit and watch food orders: can see into tbe “kitchen” area, which looks just like a large microwave or some kind of oven. Watch as burger (pictured below) sits for 11 mins under the heat lamp waiting to be served to the table. Hope they liked that burger!
I’d skip this place if I were you!

We’ve always loved the well but their food menu has been off the charts lately. Chicken Caesar and the flamingo burger are incredible. Service is great, atmosphere is top tier.

It’s only the second week that they’re serving brunch so we tried it out. We’ve always loved the atmosphere but the chef they have brought on has changed the game here. We shared the shrimp cake benedict with an amazing hollandaise and a perfect hint of key lime, as well as the chorizo biscuits and gravy! The chef actually checked on us a few times and was so personable and kind.
I think we visited before this place really blows up. I’m really excited for them! And he said they’ll change the brunch menu each season!
I have nothing but good things to say.

Date night with the wife and she said the well has food now. The drinks are great, but the food just might be the best in town. We’ve eaten at all the “best” places here in Pensacola but this is an elevated experience from plate to palate.
Coming from a larger metro area it’s been hard finding the right combination of food and bar. This is the place. I’m not ashamed in saying that we’ll be here at minimum once a month. It’s a drive we’re willing to make.

Had drinks and phenomenal food at The Well. We had the Peach Prosciutto Burrata Caprese, Bourbon Black Garlic Bone Marrow, Sweet & Smokey Deviled Eggs, and finished with the Blueberry Tart Cheesecake. Rusty Strain is doing an amazing job at The Well, and we can’t wait to see what he has planned in the future! Support your local chefs, and visit The Well soon!

Such a great spot. The atmosphere is classy without feeling stuffy, the food is legit delicious, and the drinks are top-tier. You can tell the bartender Nick actually cared about what he’s making because every cocktail was on point. Perfect place for a nice night out.

Hands down one of the best bars I’ve been to. The place feels upscale but still relaxed, the food is seriously amazing, and everything tastes way better than you’d expect from a bar. The bartenders really know what they’re doing, every drink was perfectly made, and they were happy to recommend something when I couldn’t decide. Great vibe, great service, great drinks. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to.
