My wife and I spent part of our 32nd wedding anniversary at the Tan Turtle Tavern, shortly after having tubed the Guadalupe. We were worn-out, burned up and thirsty. The very nice lady (wish I could remember her name), took charge of the situation, and soon we had all the water, beer and tequila we could enjoy. Next time you’re on River Road, you should swing by. Great atmosphere, cold beverages, and excellent service!! Hungry? No problem, they also have a grill!!!
