I went there with my husband and our friends and had a great time! The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. I want to give a shout out to our server Nicole who was so awesome!! She was very sweet, gave great advice with our food choices and made us laugh. I hope we have Nicole again the next time we visit.

We’ve eaten here at least ten times, and for me it’s hit or miss. Sometimes the food is genuinely good; other times… it’s fine.
The atmosphere is pleasant—nothing special, but nice enough. The crowd is very “city people,” which leads to the real point of my review: I think we “citiots” (as they like to call us in Sullivan County) are a little too easily impressed because the overall local dining scene is so thin. When options are limited, even a pretty average place can feel fantastic.
In Brooklyn, a spot like this probably wouldn’t last three months. Here, I can still see myself coming back.
One heads-up: be prepared to wait. Nobody rushes here—lol.

We LOVE The Old Foundation. The atmosphere is very friendly. Sometimes we get a table, other times we sit at the bar. Regardless, we always have a great time. The food is always delicious. We look forward to their specials as they’re always unique and yummy. You can always tell when an owner is in the kitchen by the food quality and the owners of this place defiantly poor their heart and soul into their food and atmosphere. If you haven’t been, put this on your local bucket list!

Lovely place. Mozzarella was fresh, made in house. So was the focaccia. So so good! Highly recommend. In terms of ambiance, the establishment has tavern vibes. Casual dress seems fine. I think for the area the pasta prices are a bit steep (~$27 per plate), but everything we ate was so tasty. The service was warm and friendly. Their dog who was outside on the porch is a sweetie too.

Pretty darn good food and I’m not a fan of smash burgers but this was fairly juicy and very tasty— get the bacon, was awesome! Comes with fries or salad. The fried chicken sando was really really impressive, and the garlic parm wings were delicious (quite creamy). Bianca pizza was top notch. The homemade breads and sourdough pizza dough were excellent. Chocolate babka was alright but the highlight of desert was the homemade wildflower ice cream. Katie was a lovely server and Ian is something special of a cook. Thanks Old Foundation!

We ordered a margarita pizza and tagliatelle al limone. The pizza was delicious but I would say that it was a little under done. The under crust was light and top was slightly gooey. Coming from the city, I am used to elevated prices and I have to say the limone sauce on the pasta was also delicious, but the portion was small for the $27.00 price tag. Also the restaurant itself needs an update. It has a rustic appearance but its dark and its windows need to be cleaned (some panes were cracked) and sills need to be painted. The service was prompt and The waitstaff was polite and friendly!

Found this place while just passing through. How lucky are we! This place was absolutely lovely, there was live Jazz music playing, the bartender was delightful, and the food was DELICIOUS. The shrimp scampi was very tasty and the pizza was MIND BLOWING ( I think it was called the Pauli?). We are so happy we stopped here and highly recommend it.

We hopped on the bikes last weekend to explore one of our favorite areas in NY and ran into this little gem of a place. Al the bartender was the cutest little thing and his service was top notch! We got the garlic parm wings as an appetizer and they were hands down the most delicious wings we’ve ever had! We split a smash burger and fries and that was also out of this world! The burger had a smoky flavor and the truffle fries were so, so yummy! Friends got the mozzarella ball and that was also amazing. Funny little story … there was a man walking around who was dressed in all black with a hat (possibly an owner or someone who worked there?!) who challenged one of the guys with us to an arm wrestling match for a drink (the regulars seemed like they had seen this show before ) but we lost. Good time, though! I would drive the hour and change back up there to eat again in a heartbeat! A must try!

Was a delightful snowy evening with friends. The food was delicious. We started off with a smash burger and split it 4 ways. Home run. Then we all go our own meals. I opted for a calimari which was cooked absolutely perfectly. I tried the pasta which was bombdigity. The desserts were on par with the rest of the night. Well played. We will be back.
