Stopped in today for an epic flavor experience. Ordered the gochujang tenders, Korean fried corn dog, and the bulgogi beef egg rolls. It was my first time trying any of this and let me tell you it was all incredible! The breading and sauce on the chicken was an absolute flavor blast, and the egg rolls are on a whole other level. I was especially excited to try the Korean style corn dog and I was blown away, it was world’s different from your standard corn dog. The flavor, the presentation, everything about this experience was amazing. I highly recommend checking them out! We will be back to try Esoteric Brewery which Decibel is located in

Just an FYI this location DOES NOT HAVE SEATING!! Carry out only!! Don’t be fooled like us.
Now on to the food. Disappointed over all for the most part.
The chicken tenders were good. Between the sauces gochujang bbq and garlic soy, GS was better but a little. But both tasty.
The Korean mozz stick and Korean corn dog were disappointing. I’ve had better. Pretty difficult to eat.
The beef bulgogi egg rolls were seasoned good but they were dry and the sauce they included was way too heavy on the soy. The salt made the sauce inedible.
The waffle fries? Forget about em probably the worst thing we ordered and received sadly.

Amazing experience! The food was phenomenal the chicken wings were cooked to perfection. It was nice to sit in the brewery and have a tasty beer with my meal! Share left overs with my family and I think we all can agree this is some of the best chicken you’ll have. The flavors were great. The owner topped the experience he was such a pleasure to chat with. I’m really hoping it makes it throughout the other Ohio region.

The chicken here is okay to good, but I want to clarify something as someone who grew up in Korea and still visits every year: the food they serve is not Korean fried chicken. Their red spicy “Korean chicken sauce,” labeled as Gochujang BBQ, doesn’t resemble the 양념 sauce you get in Korea. Yes, real yangnyeom sauce is gochujang-based, but the flavor here is very different.
Also, a small note: when you see random chopped scallions sprinkled on anything marketed as “Asian,” it’s usually not a sign of authenticity. That’s the case here as well.
Are they close to real Korean-style chicken? Not really. But authenticity aside, they do fry chicken, and the fried chicken itself isn’t bad. Just don’t expect true Korean flavors.

I am in town for work and ordered via Uber so I can’t speak to the service or atmosphere really, but I greatly appreciated the automatic inclusion of flatware given that my food was not all handheld.
I had the Korean corn dog, a side of white rice, and a side of the marinated cukes. I wanted the drumsticks, truly, but was not gonna be able to eat that much.
The corn dog was something I had wanted to try because I’ve never had one. The breading, the actual frying, the sauce, everything was incredible. I feel it would be much better suited around a less processed center like dark meat chicken than say a hot dog, but hot dogs are so easy on a stick. I would eat the outer shell served as it is, alone. I didn’t notice the potatoes at all, and I didn’t care because it all combined to create something great.
The cucumbers were fine. They were very fresh, lightly flavored, but not so much distinctly Korean.
My main complaint is that the white rice was so bad. They expressly state “Korean white rice,” with Calrose which is a fairly fancy brand of white rice. But the preparation was wrong. Instead of hot, sticky, slightly sweet, it was… more congealed, without being mushy. They let it sit in the water too long before cooking it, and/or used too much water to begin with. I’m inclined to rate it 3 stars due to this most basic staple being botched, but that’s more a personal point of pride as an East Asian person.
I’m sure this place is worth giving a try.

Woah, SO good. I had the bbq drumsticks, kimchi fried rice, fried pickles, picnic salad, and cured cukes. Fried chicken breading is crunchy and perfectly absorbs the sauce and the sauce is sweet and tangy and delicious. The cucumbers are the perfect addition to the fried food and are so flavorful. Fried rice is unique, saucy, and has a sweet kick. The pickles are perfectly breaded and the breading mix is divine. The picnic salad is so much better than the description leads on and is a great compliment to the main dishes. I got delivery and everything kept perfectly!

I’ve been meaning to try Decibel and decided to go today since they had a Cincinnati Wing Week special. Really enjoyed the garlic soy sauce on the wings, however I think they could have used more of the sauce on the wings. I was not expecting the wings to be the large ones, so 6 of them for the $7 special price was an awesome deal. Also got the cured cukes and the waffle fries with the fly sauce. Loved the cured cukes. The waffle fries were great too and I really enjoyed the fly sauce…was not expecting it to be that spicy! The place is a little pricey (6 wings are normally over $10) so without the wing week special, I probably would not have bought as much food but $15 for 6 large wings and two side items was a great deal in my opinion. The place is a little out of my way but I’ll be back in the future!

The setting in Esoteric Brewery makes environment really nice. The spicy Korean BBQ tenders were very good. The Korean rice with pepper flakes was terrible (and was told I couldn’t exchange). Very low likelihood of returning based on customer service of cashier

Pro:
Soy garlic drumsticks were great. They were crispy and savory. They were still slightly crunchy even when I saved some for an hour later. The seaweed salad and rice were also good (standard).
Con:
The gochujang bbq tenders were dry and tough. We ended up eating only 2 of them because we really just didn’t like them and shared the drumsticks instead. I also order the cured cukes but they must have forgotten to put it into the bag or forgot to take down the order. (It was only $3 if they forgot to bag it so we didn’t call to correct them. It wasn’t a big deal since they were closing when we got there.)

Got lunch on Sunday here. Strange that the street entrance is closed but you have to go to the adjacent bar to order at a kiosk and the food gets left on the counter for you. Couldn’t even see staff inside. Bar is well lit during day and not noisy, plenty of seating.
Food was great. Sauce was yummy. Chicken was super crispy.
