The cocktails here are a solid 10/10, and the food is also really good. I gave four stars only because staff attentiveness can vary depending on the day. If you visit on a weekend with a live band and plan to sit outside, be aware that it can get quite loud—conversation can be difficult.

The food was absolutely amazing. Each dish was crafted with care, bursting with flavor, and beautifully presented.

Went to lunch for Valentine’s Day w/ my boyfriend & it was incredible! The French onion soup is absolutely divine & their burger is so flavorful. Also they had someone walk around to the tables & give out roses to all the woman there. Such a special moment. 10/10 will be back.

My friends and I have been here several times before and always enjoyed top notch drinks, food and service. We just experienced their “Miracle pop up” promotion and were blown away with their new menu selections and new Christmas cocktails which were amazing! Reservations are a must, it was at capacity. The ambience was like a Winter Wonderland.
The staff was friendly and helpful ensuring we had an enjoyable experience. The food was delicious. We highly recommend Parkside Tavern.

Great new restaurant in the heart of Morristown. We had the Nola Char Seared Scallops, Salmon and Caesar Salad with Grilled Chicken. Everything was delicious. The service was superb as well. We will definitely be back. The drinks were good as well.

Had a table reservation so no issues getting sat down. We ordered around a drinks that took a long time to get to us. They were good. Took a while for our waitress to take our order. She was not very attentive, although we debated whether it was because she had a lot of tables or she didn’t care to be attentive.
Food wise, we order the short nachos which were good although there were a couple of stale chips. Dinner was not good at all. Took a while to get our food and everything came out lukewarm. Again, try to get her waitresses attention but she was nowhere to be found. I had the skirt steak which was okay. Again, a little cold but the side dishes were disgusting. My wife had gumbo which was again a little cold and lacking any spice. Friends at our table had sandwiches. They said they were fine but shared some of the same complaints.
Overall, I would say the experience declined the longer we were there. I would go back for for a drink and maybe an app or two. Not for dinner. Not worth it.

I like this place for cocktails and atmosphere. One server was very unprofessional, greeted us in the way that we didn’t want to even stay there. Food doesn’t have much flavor, steak tartar had no taste, brussels sprouts are basically steamed with no seasoning. Its a nice bar but wouldn’t eat there again. Not so bad if you don’t like FLAVOR in your food. Most items are very plain

My coworker and visited this restaurant on a Sunday around 2 pm . There weren’t many people there,which was fine because we assume that our food would come out faster however it still took an excessive amount of time. The bartender was amazing. She was very friendly, but she was the best part of our experience. The food was bland and the menu needs more details on how the food is going to be served.9 times out of 10 I wouldn’t return to this restaurant. They also did not have a good wine selection.
My coworker ordered the half chicken well done and I had the salmon. I have attached pictures. The Restaurant manager was present during our visit and was not very friendly. I would not recommend this Restaurant to anyone!!!The menu seems as though the new chef straight out of culinary school.

The service here is atrocious. My group had reservations for 5 pm on a weeknight, and by 6 pm, our server was already taking away our plates and drinks that we were clearly still eating/drinking from. He brought us the check without asking us if we wanted anything else. What is the point of having a reservation? Not only that, but we were charged full price for something that was supposed to be on happy hour.

We arrived at the restaurant at 2:50 PM, prior to the stated 3:00 PM end time for brunch, as clearly printed on the menu. Despite this, the manager refused to provide our party with the brunch menu and insisted we order from the regular menu, even after we politely requested otherwise.
It later became clear that this decision was based on the size of our party rather than an actual menu policy. The manager repeatedly claimed that brunch ended earlier than what was printed on the menu, which was confusing and inconsistent. After unnecessary back and forth, the chef ultimately approved our ability to order from the brunch menu, confirming that this was not a kitchen issue.
This was especially disappointing as we were celebrating my son’s birthday, and what should have been a pleasant occasion was unnecessarily stressful. The manager’s approach was unprofessional, dismissive, and confrontational. In contrast, our waiter was excellent. He was attentive, courteous, and did everything possible to make the experience positive despite the circumstances.
Honoring published menu times and treating guests with respect are basic service expectations. Unfortunately, poor management overshadowed what could have otherwise been an enjoyable celebration.
