Cali BBQ is a Barbeque restaurant but unlike the big-name mainstream Barbeque restaurants currently out there. We want our establishment to be a place you bring your friends, colleagues, significant other, and family to have a great time. As soon as you walk into our doors you will be engulfed by the lively environment of hollow/soft music, friendly staff, and televisions broadcasting live sport events.

We were just coming through the area, and we saw the sign It said best barbecue in town. So naturally, being curious we stopped.
The owner, Ricardo, was very engaging. He talked about the history of the establishment and it’s sister store in California. The tri-tip of course was delicious, so was the chicken, and the pork ribs! The macaroni and cheese was very tasty with white cheddar, the beans were spicy and flavorful. The sauce really wasn’t necessary as the meat had a delicious patina. But, the sauce was good. The slaw was not a sweet slaw, very different but enjoyable. And of course they have all sorts of mixed drinks and beer. A very nice four screen setup in the center, will keep you abreast of sports and news. A very inviting atmosphere, and the bathrooms are spotless! And you know what they say, clean bathroom clean kitchen! If you haven’t been, you’ve got to go lol, And I don’t mean the bathroom.

People were very nice and extremely accommodating. I got the 5 meat combo and was able to feed a family of 5 with a little left over. The chicken was very tasty and moist. The tri-tip and pork ribs were very flavorful yet a bit dry. The hot links had a nice peppery bite to them. Their hot BBQ sauce is hot, that’s for sure, not outrageous but a solid hot BBQ sauce.

Clean, good service, friendly staff. Tribtip beef was good, but a little dry. Pork ribs were just OK. VERY DISAPPOINTED with the beef rib. Not sure if it was a bad cut, cooked too fast, or because of something else but i asked them to remake it for me and got the same thing- tough, chewy and not good. If they can fix the beef rib problem then I’ll go back.

Finally got around to trying out this place…unfortunately not what I hoped.
First off as the door opens you hear blaring loud music ..ok live band I’m in , but at the volume they played definitely not good , as I stood at the menu the worker maybe manager I’m not sure tried telling about the menu , we both had to lean over the counter for me to hear what he was saying absolutely not good for business….we ordered a 5 meat platter, cole slaw, beans, n mac…3 drinks, for 37.00 bucks…did not know to either stand at the end of the counter or sit and wait for the order, but finally with the help of hand gestures I was instructed they will bring it to my table ..which I sat as far as possible in hopes to hear my family as we ate..food arrived, definitely not what I expected for the 37.00 was very disappointing I know meat is going up but as you will see in pictures this is was what we got.
The food now..the high lights…the chicken,and the brisket ( even though cold) was decent, the garlic bread slices n beans were good….the lowlights were the ribs (beef n the pork) were both very fatty impossible to get off the bone and dry and the sausages were cold as well not impressed at all….
Things to fix in hope of surviving, …lower the decimals of the band , love the band idea but impossible to enjoy any conversation or even ordering was impossible….
Build a wall up to the ceiling to corridor for the walk in to the menu/ ordering counter to the pick up counter some kind of noise blockage to aid in this issue.
There was a awful stench by the make shift bar not sure what it was ,
Better cuts of meat, or change supplier
Make sure all the food is hot or very warm upon serving
No paper towels in the bathroom didnt help either.
Thanks for listening I may try again but I’m gonna be hard pressed to pick this place over others

Food was very good and abundant compared to the price the garlic bread could use a bit more garlic and the server was very attentive to our needs and open to righting any wrongs for my first time it was a geat experience. In the photo, I got a beef rib dinner and a drink and it only cost me $20 and there was plenty left over.

Sad, sad sandwich. Pulled pork – small amount of meat (pic is before anything was eaten) and meat was dry, tasted stale. BBQ sauce too liquidy but had nice flavor. Nice staff. May give them one more try but this visit was disappointing.

Terrible food. Ordered beef ribs! I got 3 bones with barely any meat on them!!! Whatever was on it was very chewy. Not even sure it came from a cow. Beans are from a can. Corn on the cob tasteless, potato salad decent and Mac n cheese is from a box!! It was my first and last time. Never again. To the owner: are you proud selling them “dog bones” as beef ribs? Shame on you for taking people’s hard earned money in exchange of sub par food!
