Ombra is such a gem in Boonton—perfect for a girls’ night or a cozy date night. The small bites are delicious and ideal for sharing, and the $15 wine flight on Wednesdays is a must. Desserts with a cappuccino are the perfect way to end the night, and if wine isn’t your thing, the cocktails are just as fun (I can’t say no to a limoncello mule! ). Kat has been our waitress every visit lately and she is absolutely wonderful—so kind and welcoming. I recommend Ombra to anyone looking for a truly cozy Italian experience.

Ombra is wonderful experience every time I go there! Carlos is super friendly and knowledgeable. He always makes sure all of my needs are met. Callum has never missed with the food he makes. It’s always delicious and makes me excited to return every time I have it. If you haven’t had it yet you should try the Foam Negroni. It’s one of the best mixed drinks I’ve ever had, and will keep me coming back as long as it’s on the menu!

This is a great cocktail bar that serves delicious drinks and charcuterie. If you’re looking to eat dinner here I would recommend otherwise. Prices are a bit high for the serving sizes you get, but price does reflect in the quality of food received! I have come here before for an aperitivo before going elsewhere for dinner. Seating in both the upper and lower level, but I prefer the lower.

Meats on the board were great. Cheese were cut so thin; the Parmesan slice we got looked like the ends cause it was so hard and couldn’t be cut easily. They gave us two small pieces of bread for the grande board. Whe asked for a refill of said bread, server said okay but never went back with any bread. Server gave us a different drink but corrected that about 20mins later. Burrata didn’t come with any type of bread around it which was the first. Flatbread was served ~45mins after the other food came out. Gorgonzola was very strong and empowered all other flavors in it.
Overall experience was a so-so in my opinion. Spent $150 that night for two and still gave a 40% tip although I’m not sure I’ll be back.

A quick visit after a trip to Manhattan and this place did not disappoint! Great food (the kiwi/strawberry salad was amazing) and impeccable service. Quality wine flight and amazing cocktails. What a gem!

Impressive small plates, charcuterie, and cocktail. Great views of the valley. Perfect spot to hang out with friends at happy hour. Price was not too high, but it’s easy to go overboard. Special note: the ONLY place in the NYC area where I have been served real Sicilian anchovies (they are NOT like American ones).
