This new restaurant is an excellent addition to Cornell Square. I really enjoyed the hibachi shrimp bento box I ordered for lunch. When I picked up my food, I was surprised to discover that they have an area filled with Japanese snacks . There are also pre-made cold and hot items like fresh sushi and ham musubi (even better than spam musubi).
UPDATE: I tried the miso ramen and it was great as well! The pork belly was well caramelized and the corn, bamboo shoots, bok choy, and hard-boiled egg in the soup were delicious too.

I ordered take-out bento boxes. The food was delicious and packed! Each one came with some sushi, gyozas, and edamames. The veggies were flavorful. The gyoza dipping was had a nice tang to it, maybe tamarind. I was waiting at a down-time but the dining area was cleaned and comfortable. Looks to be a counter-order casual restaurant, which is always appreciated for quicker lunches. We’ll definitely come back again.

Such a bummer of a $60 meal for our family. The miso and tonkatsu broths were flat and watery tasting. Each bowl came with the tiniest piece of bok choi and maybe 5 kernels of corn, plus half a fully boiled egg. The hibachi steak noodles consisted of the same mush noodles as the ramen/miso and were so bland. The steak was so tough and tasted like jerky. Truly a bummer of a meal!

I ordered the Salmon stir fry noodles, fried cheese wontons and Thai iced tea. I was BLOWN away. The price was fantastic and it is SO good. Definitely my new favorite spot for stir fry noodles.

Didn’t get the warmest reception from the guy attending but I can overlook that as long as the food was good but unfortunately After spending over $50 it was mediocre. The meat had a lot of fat and everything else was below Sub Par including the ginger . Disappointed
