But what really made my experience stand out was the warm and welcoming staff. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely enthusiastic about their food. The vibe was lively and inviting, too. If you’re a birria lover or just looking for a delicious taco, do yourself a favor and check this place out! 5 stars and can’t wait to come back!
This place is an absolute 10 out of 10!!!!
Fish Taco 3 juicy
Enchiladas:
– Chicken 2 too dry
– Beef 3 minced
– Cheese 3 large pc of unmelted cheese
Chipotle Chicken Breast 2 too dry
Pina Colada 4 a bit too sweet
Everything is so cheap there’s no plates so I was eating the soggy paper my food was served on. One trick pony kitchen. Saturday night at dinner time was empty at 6 o’clock. Horchata has granules of spiced rice “homemade” still not my favorite.
To the owner: A little cholula on the tables, a pitcher of water, hand sanitizer (we’re eating tacos with our hands) and some actual plates and utensils would go along way.
This place has been on my list for some time now. I’ve been trying to get to this place the last 4 trips down to the bay area after seeing an IG Influencer post about their experience. Which I must say was very compelling. I was sold.
Unfortunately this place was a huge huge disappointment. I ordered the taco combo plate with rice and beans.
Issues I experienced:
• room temp rice
• cold beans (tasted like canned beans)
• birria tacos were chewy and tasted like they were from the other day
• service was beyond poor. Unwelcoming, short demeanors and “mmmildly” condescending.
I definitely would not eat here again, definitely would recommended this place. There are MANY places now serving quesa birria tacos.
Was really looking forward to this place after having been thru the bay area without stopping the previous 4 trips. Oh well ♂️
The birria and shrimp combination on the surf-N-turf taco was outstanding.
Also, I think they make their own horchata (I don’t think it’s the powder) so that’s good, just too sweet for me.
I’ll definitely give this place a go again, I have hope!
