We just came back from Paris and wanted to experience another Paris pastry . We were so happy to find Doré! They open at 7 am so we were able to take the kids before school. We had the chocolate croissant and the almond chocolate croissant … they were delicious!! I always loved themed Paris decor. Can’t wait to come again.

I had the egg/ham/cheddar croissant and my wife had the chocolate almond croissant. Both were absolutely delicious. The croissant was light and flaky. Our server was friendly. Very nice place. So glad we discovered it!!

I really love this bakery and have come in fairly regularly for their sweets treats, cakes, pastries, and breakfast croissants. I understand they have temporarily closed, which is very sad, but I surprisingly saw them this morning at the Brentwood farmers market. They said they are there weekly. I have also used their cakes as a more healthy and tastier version of birthday cakes. They are a wonderful family run business and really appreciate their amazing food.

Cute, little bakery with some delicious offerings! My husband and I got a bunch of pastries to try with the family. Everything is so good! We’ll be back in the future to try out their paninis.

BEST BAKESHOP IN EAST BAY! MUST TRY!
We tried them first at the Brentwood Farmer’s Market. It was so gooood I need them the next day! They are NOT located beside AMC at the Streets of Brentwood anymore like in one of the photos here. Rather, they’re in outlet at the intersection of Brentwood and Nancy.
Try their brownie with walnuts! My partner doesn’t like brownies but Doré’s was so good that when I bought two for myseld she asked if she could have an entire one for herself! Another immediate favorite was the croissant with almonds, chocolate, and banana. We’re still trying to go through their entire selection because everything is so delicious. If you wanted something specific and the shelf at the front is empty you can ask if they have some more available at the back. They usually do!
This is a hidden gem in Brentwood but it’s so good it shouldn’t be hidden at all! Gotta share the deliciousness to everyone.

Best French bakery in the Bay Area – hidden gem in Brentwood! Reasonable prices for such elegant treats. Since it is right next to the AMC, get some of the special pastries rather than popcorn.

I wasn’t impressed by anything we got. Tried the Carrot Cake, German Chocolate Cake and Bread Pudding. At ~$6.00 a slice, I expect it be be pretty tasty, and it was just super average.

I assume the croissants are normally light and flaky. when ordering a warm ham/cheese and a bacon egg croissants they used a sandwich press to wam it. Kinda defeats the purpose of a croissant if it’s smashed, reheating the butter tuning it into a flat greasy and leathery sandwich. I enjoy all the baked goods and pastries, literally the best in a 40+ mile radiu! I pray for a change in breakfast sandwich heating so i can love everything you offer.
