It is attached to a church so I knew this was going to be super good. I am pretty much fed up with eating the same food, so I turned to google and it did not disappoint.
I pass by this church everyday coming home and never thought about stopping here at this hidden gem.
Poundcake? Fluffy and delicious reminds me of my grandmothers bundt pound cake she use to make me growing up.
Pork chops? thick and seasoned
Yams? Sweet and delectable
Mac? Cheesy and straight to the point
Cornbread ? Sweet cornbread
Cabbage? It’s very flavorful it’s neither in the sweet or spicy family.
I also added reg fries and mild sauce for my 2 year old… it was so good I couldn’t get his pic.

The food and service are always excellent here. The location is somewhat hard to find, but that makes this place a hidden gem. It’s open to the public, but located in the kitchen of a church. Just follow the signs. The place stays clean. I’ve had the wings, catfish, and Who’s Yo Daddy burger. Everything is great, but my favorite has been the burgers. The flavors are so good together. Definitely get the sweet potato fries and ask for some BBQ sauce. They’re dusted with something sweet and they go so well with the BBQ sauce.

I was truly blessed. The customer service was on point, the atmosphere is in a church dinning hall so for me I felt right at home.

Some reviews it’s hard to impart how good every aspect of the experience is. This was a 11/10 experience AND food.
The burger was a top 3 burger I’ve ever had in my life – the bun was a sweet and soft sourdough, the sauce was amazing, and the meat was cooked perfectly and insanely delicious.
The wings were insanely crunchy, fresh, and seasoned perfectly. The sauce is delicious. I got the battered fries and couldn’t stop eating after we were full.
The atmosphere is super comfortable – plenty of room, tons of lighting, lots of tables.
I didn’t catch the name of the lady who checked us out and brought us our food but she remembered all of our names and was very welcoming.
Can’t stress enough how good this was. In town for the weekend and already planning my next meal here.

The Soul food was on point. Mac, Yams, Cabbage and Chicken all good.. That cabbage was hitting!!!!
I came for the oxtail fries but I didn’t like it.

5 stars isn’t enough. The entire experience was AMAZING. The friendliest staff. The freshest, most INCREDIBLE food. If you don’t ever get to try this place, I’m sorry. We went last night, and will be back as much as possible. Very affordable, and worth every penny. My son said it should have “best burger in the world” as part of their advertising! Thank you, FD’s, for being the BEST!

Let me start with this place was kind of hard to find but once I seen it was connected to a church I just knew this food had to be good. They were renovating inside so it was too hot to sit but I still followed my gut and ordered to go. The lady who took my order was so sweet and raved about the food but here is where it gets good. I ordered the fried fish plate with yams, Mac and cheese and greens, & the fried chicken plate with sweet potato fries. When I got my food it was PIPING HOT! Smelled so good I couldn’t even wait to get home I had to try it. YALL THEY GOT SOMEBODY GRANNY IN THE BACK PUTTING HER FOOT AND ELBOWS IN THE FOOD CUZ IT WAS AMAZING! Food was so good I ate it in the truck. I ALWAYS need ketchup with my fried chicken but this chicken was so dang good I didn’t need nothing but that holy grail seasoning they put on it. Yams amazing, greens amazing, Mac and cheese great! Stumbled on this place by lick but it’s my new favorite and I will be taking my family back again 1000/10
