This was one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. The place was dirty, and even the dishes smelled bad. The bread was served with visible mold on it, which is completely unacceptable.
We ordered waffles for the kids, and they were raw inside — just uncooked batter. It was shocking that such food was even served.
The staff were rude and dismissive, answering questions in an impolite way.
The food was tasteless, the quality was terrible, and the prices were unreasonably high. This restaurant does not deserve its prices or reputation. I would strongly advise avoiding this place.

I was really disappointed with our experience at Valencia Restaurant at The Grove Resort. The dinner menu system was honestly confusing and unnecessarily complicated. It felt more frustrating than enjoyable trying to figure out how everything worked.
Unfortunately, the food didn’t make up for it. The dishes were bland and poorly executed definitely not what we expected for a resort restaurant. For the price and setting, the quality just wasn’t there.
The one bright spot of the night was our server, David. He was incredibly patient and professional while our entire table vented about the experience. He handled it like a champ and truly did the best he could in a tough situation.

Valencia is one of the restaurants inside of The Grove resort and we ordered dinner and went for their breakfast buffet. I would not recommend either.
We ordered dining through their website and there’s not an ETA for pickup so we just had to guess or wait 15 minutes and walk there. The fries were good but the buffalo wings had some sort of aioli sauce along with the buffalo sauce that made it unbearable to eat. There’s only “6” wings for $15 and it was NOT warm or hot when we got it once it was ready. Not worth. The Valencia burger was 2/5, not tasty. Tipping kitchen staff via online order is NOT optional either so FYI.
Breakfast buffet was $28pp and server took a while to come to us so we decided to just have one person give our drinks while we go to the buffet and they told us that we HAD to ALL wait until the server comes to the table. It was weird. Nothing to rant about, their breakfast is probably better than their dinner and that’s not saying a lot. We saw a sign up on the sidewalk for breakfast entrees. We went to the host to get in and they said they’re not doing their regular menu, but a buffet instead. The restaurant was less than half full but we still had to wait fifteen minutes for a table. A couple came in in front of us and had three kids younger than 5, but the host wouldn’t let them in for the buffet without waiting 15 minutes first. We finally got called to our table. Coffee and drinks were charged extra on top of the buffet. The server had to “take our order” for the drinks. The “buffet” was basically what they would call a continental breakfast in another hotel. There were only four staff in the place that we saw so everything took forever. The yogurt was completely out. The food was barely warmer than room temperature.

service was good. the food was good but not as expected and ordered. the menu said the onions were caramelized on the burger but there was barely any that were. most of the onions were not caramelized at all. the burger seemed done rare even though i asked for medium-well so that’s another issue. the ketchup had an odd viscosity. i expect to be able to get what i ordered the way i ordered it and the way it was described on the menu.

Our first experience here was Nov 2022 and thanks to hurricane conditions we ate here all 4 nights we stayed. (We were pleasantly surprised and were happy to get to eat here every night/morning) We came back for a quick stay yesterday and again, it didn’t disappoint. I remembered the chicken Alfredo we had and it was amazing as it was before. Our waitress Jelitza was outstanding!! She was so sweet, personable, and accommodating. She knows customer service 100%. Enjoyed every minute of it. Can’t wait to come back.

Only 4 tables of people, yet service was so slow. They had only one menu to give to six of us, and said they were printing more. She finally brought them and they appeared to be used menus. Food came we had no silver ware we asked for it and we got plastic. While eating saw them sitting at a table wrapping silver ware. Over all mediocre food. Big price.
I don’t recommend.
Maybe they do breakfast better? But I’m not not willing to try.

December 2020: Had an excellent experience here. Our server was very nice and did a good job. The food was fantastic. I got the Mahi Mahi sandwich and it was just yum. I would recommend getting their wings as a side also. 5 stars.

We had a really good experience with the food and service. Our dining experience was less formal (by choice/necessity) – we sat outside with the kids, which was great. The inside of the restaurant looked very nice and was probably well suited for a more formal dining experience if that is what you are after.

Had 8pm reservation, got served 70 minutes later with half empty restaurant. Waiter was OK but foot was average and tip was automatically added to the bill…. not coming back here.
Also, I would caution from ordering water… I know many restaurants serve chlorinated tap water, but the one here served to my daughter simply smelled and tasted horrible… Quickly replaced with seltzer upon request.
