Went in for a study session. Never been before but was pleasantly surprised by the variety in the menu, the friendly service and the taste of the food. I was very hungry and didn’t pay enough attention to what was on my sandwich so there were elements of it I didn’t love but when I removed them it was perfect. We got the chicken salad sandwich and the crispy chicken sandwich. The fries were battered perfectly and the classic cinnamon roll was amaaazing! And portion sizes were great for the price!!!

Had the Italian sandwich which was AMAZING! I’ve also had the club before, and that was great too. Service was also great. Manager kept bringing us stuff we needed. Brought me a to-go box before I even asked. Awesome stuff. I’ll definitely be back.

Soft grand opening took place today. Roost is one of my breakfast/brunch goto places. The senior breakfast menu is not large but seems designed for me. Glad they have a Tyler location again. I hear they make pretty good chicken salad too.

I’m amazed that Roost has an extensive variety of foods. We tried their chicken salad with walnuts and WOW, it was delicious! The Assistant Manager went out of his way to greet us and made us feel so welcomed! The young lady working was all smiles as well. The restaurant was cozy…. Not too cold and not too warm. We are definitely making this restaurant one of our favorite spots!

They serve breakfast all day. We just ate breakfast there and everything was delicious! Definitely our favorite place for breakfast in Tyler. We will come back and try some of the non-breakfast entrées. Very nice and clean restaurant as well as great food!

The food was 10/10. Not too many places you can go in Tyler and get excellent breakfast food all day. We ordered the brisket omelette, loaded hash browns, and the most amazing Nutella cinnamon roll!! We sat on their patio, as it was such a beautiful day. The manager (Korby) was very friendly, accommodating and made sure we were satisfied with everything. Highly recommended this place!!

We have always loved Roost and are so glad they’re back in Tyler, TX! Came in tonight to order so good to go and a scoop platter for a group we are having over for lunch tomorrow. Our cashier Blake and the GM took incredible care of us! They service has always been great and continues to be! Best chicken salad in Tyler and the burger and breakfast isn’t half bad either!

Maple bacon cinnamon roll – looked fantastic in the case, but was rock hard. Took it home to warm it up a bit and the bottom of the roll remained hard. Disappointed with that, but happy with the rest of the meal.

Roost in the past had one of the best BLT in town. Got two for wife and I recently. It was literally 2 slices of white bread, 2 pieces of bacon one anemic tomato and one small sheet of lettuce. And charged $10 per. Disappointed, but just had to warn others about not ordering BLT. Other stuff still good. Need to buck up quality on BLT.
