I came to this restaurant to pick up an order for a customer. The staff member handling pickup spoke to me in a very rude and disrespectful way, as if I was doing something wrong. She insisted I “confirm” the order in an aggressive tone instead of communicating professionally. To avoid conflict, I handed her my phone so she could confirm it herself.
I understand the need to follow procedures, but there is absolutely no excuse for treating delivery drivers with suspicion or disrespect. A more professional and polite attitude would make a big difference.

If you like to complain ” no good shawarma in the US ” then please come to this place. This is the single Israeli style shawarma in the U S of A. Yep. ( well best to my knowledge at least) . I am from the wasteland coast so we don’t have even that. Maybe this style of shawarma will not be to the taste of diners who are used to other styles like turkish or Arabic . But the name Tel Aviv should give you a hint about the style of shawarma served.

The food is good but the service at this location needs improvement. One of the items of my order was missing (this is a takeout place). I suppose I should have checked before leaving the premises. In any case, once at home I tried calling but could not even get through – it went to voice mail. Not a big deal but I am writing this because this was the second time that this happened to me…

I used to be a regular at Tel Aviv, Woodland Woodland Hills by the amazing shawarma that was thick, juicy, and full of. Unfortunately, those days seem to be gone. Now, the shawarma is sliced so thin it’s practically paper-thin, as if they’re trying to create an illusion of quantity without actually giving you much. It’s disappointing to see how they’ve cut corners, even down to shrinking the plate size. Every visit seems to reveal a new compromise in quality and portion. For the price they charge, it no longer feels like a good value.

It was deeply distressing to encounter a restaurant so openly displaying propaganda that glorifies war and dehumanization. The messaging outside felt like an erasure of human suffering and a celebration of violence. I came looking for a meal and instead was met with a painful reminder that, even thousands of miles away, our grief is mocked and our humanity denied. I did not feel safe or welcome dining here.

Came in at around 1pm to get shawarma in pita. Waited 25 minutes for it!!!
Ridiculous
So if you are coming during lunch , for quick grab, plan it accordingly as it’s not fast and quick as shawarma in pita should be.
Apparently it’s take almost half hour to cut some shawarma of the swirl and push it into pita.

DO NOT EAT HERE! *Rip Off Report!*
#1 Worst middle eastern spot in Cali!
The Meat quality tastes like Taco Bell.. pita breads are not fresh and have gluten.. Falafel is dry.. Food feels generic and atmosphere is grey and dull. Highly recommend you do not waste your time

Food was great. Tasted like a shawarma stand in Israel. Huge quantity, definitely would share next time. I would certainly come again next time I’m in the area.
