We got carry out from Absolute tonight and are sorely disappointed. The pad thai was stale, lukewarm, and seems like it was made hours earlier. The green curry was watery and flavorless. The spring rolls contained only rice noodles and no vegetables. Mango and sticky rice were old and similarly flavorless. Overall, I cannot recommend ordering Thai food at this restaurant. Additionally, the owner refused our request for a refund. I hope the management can improve the quality of their food in the future as this was a distinctly inedible meal.

I get take out of here regularly for years and usually get Pad Thai and maybe mango sticky rice.

I have eaten in the restaurant and ordered other things with family and all the dishes tried are good.

Food is good and price is good. Service has never been a problem- food on time and warm.

Once had a spicy meal with shellfish in it but got a refund.

Food was very good and the server was extra nice to the three and six year olds that were with us. Just be careful because some dishes may not be marked on the menu with red pepper symbols to show degree of heat yet still be very spicy hot (not mildly). Still delicious though!

Cute place. Decorated very festivally for Valentine’s Day. Miso soup was good. Sushi was good, needs to be packed a little tighter according to my Asian boyfriend.
Make sure to specify spice level – there is a big difference between American Mild and Thai Mild. Noodles were still very good, just more than I expected. Server was very nice and didn’t laugh when I asked for white rice to help with the spice.
We will be back.

I got a carry out on New Year’s Eve. I raved about their food to my friends. They wanted to have steaks but I said no let’s have Thai food. They were hesitant but willing to try. The food was absolutely horrible. I called at 5:10 and they said they were closing at 6 PM. We order drunken noodles, basil rice with chicken and pineapple. Fried tofu and basil dumplings. There was no way this food was just made fresh. We asked for everything to have extra sauce. The appetizers were so shriveled up and dry. They were not fresh in anyway. The sauce they gave with it was maybe a teaspoon.. Both appetizers came with the sauce and they both had A teaspoon worth of sauce. I was embarrassed because I talked to my friends into eating the Thai food. I have to say I’ve gotten carry out from there at least 8 to 10 times. I noticed a huge difference in the past year. My drunken noodles were overcooked, but they did have sauce. The chicken and pineapple was disgusting. It had no sauce and it was not fresh. I was shocked at the quality of food that was served to us. In a takeout. The food was sitting around. No taste, dry and old.
I was shocked by this and started reading reviews today. Nothing made me more sick than to read. Somebody had a cockroach in their food. Are you kidding me.? I remember telling the girl at the counter a year and a half ago that I used to eat at spice and dice, but it was so filthy. I would never eat there again. The same thing happened with them the first year or two they were clean and the food was good. It looks like this is exactly what’s happening to absolute Thia. There is never any excuse or any reason to have a roach in your food. I couldn’t believe what I was reading. I remember the girl at the counter telling me she used to work at spice and dice and how dirty they were. Well guess what girl with the counter it sounds like absolute Thia has become the same way. There is never, and I mean never any reason to have roaches in your food. It makes me sick to my stomach to wonder what I ate last night and my friends. The food was disgusting. Again overcooked, extremely dry, and the basil appetizer I could’ve thrown against the wall. It was so hard and shriveled up. What a shame. You obviously do not care about your customers, cleanliness. This is the USA. We have rules about safe food. Is it perfect? No, it’s not. But obviously Thai people feel completely different. I am so disappointed that I talk to my friends into eating your food instead of making steaks. I can tell you now you won’t be open much longer if you continue to serve the food that you’ve been producing lately. And you don’t even care about roaches. God knows do you have mice.? My bill was $65 and some change. It wasn’t worth $10. You all need to get your act together and you need to know your place needs to be cleaned. You need to know how to cook. Also, for the person that wrote the review about not getting any duck sauce and charging a dollar for a pack of dock sauce is ridiculous. You all have gone completely downhill. I will never recommend absolute Thai. I’m beginning to think the Thai people are not clean. And they certainly don’t care about their customers.

2024 update: Under new management, the portions are much smaller. The taste is much more toned down and lacks the same charm it once had. The service was also lacking, but they seemed short-staffed. Very disappointed by the presentation and portions.

Great service and delicious food. Their curry is amazing and the coconut milk is incorporated nicely to create a flavorful broth. They also make most of their spices they use, making the food even more incredible.

Food here is really high quality and service is so sweet and nice. I think this is definitely the best Thai food in the Towson area and possibly in Baltimore. Baltimore lacks great Thai food, so this is nice to have. Can be slow when busy and runs a crazy take out business. It’s just a small place. But well with trying.

This place is a great find. The food was delicious and the service was good. The curries were actually spicy, tasted unique, and have different ingredients based on the type of curry you ordered. The curry was not watered down or made into a gravy, it was just right. My review only gets 4 stars overall because the chicken satay appetizer and rice portion that came with the curry was small relative to the prices on the menu.

Absolute Thai-Sushi is a nice little restaurant on the lower level of the Kenilworth Mall. It has takeout and table service.

My wife and I had lunch there. The service was efficient and friendly. The food was delicious.

The ambiance was pleasant. My wife and I enjoyed the restaurant.

They even had a way to pay for the meal by scanning a QR code at the bottom of the check. That method of payment worked perfectly. I recommend this place.

This is my favorite place to get Thai food. I’ve been here twice and ordered the same exact thing on both occasions. The food is delicious and fresh. The staff is also very friendly. I usually get the Panang Curry, Crab Rangoons, side of peanut sauce, and Thai Tea. I ordered the sticky rice dessert on one of my trips. The dish was okay, slightly sweet with a hint of coconut. I would order that again if I’m in the mood, as it was a little plain to me.
