We visited LA this summer in July. First time in the city. We drove all the way from Houston. We liked the sandwiches and lattes so much we came twice during our three days in LA.

When back in Texas, we would talk about these sandwiches so much you’d think we were crazy. Funny enough, my job had me travel to San Diego in October. Again, we drove from Texas all the way to San Diego. (Don’t judge my fear of flights! Lol).

Anyways, after leaving San Diego we made the two plus hour drive to LA just to come eat these sandwiches again. The crispy chicken is so good.

If that doesn’t tell you how good they are then idk what else to say.

Staff was really friendly, there’s not a ton of space so if you go during busy times you might not find a seat. Which isn’t a bad sign since it speaks on how much a favorite this spot is with the locals.

Parking is tricky but there’s a few parking garages within a 3 minute walk.

Hope I get to visit again soon, maybe I’ll make the drive again this week.

I waited over 2 hours for this viral chicken Caesar wrap. So let’s see if they’re pretty good eh or ew. The wrap had good savory, umami, salty miso,Caesary flaves but was REALLY DRY. It was like 90% sad soggy dry breadcrumbs, 7% dry shredded chicken chicken, and 3% lettuce. It even costed extra to add the chicken. The tortilla was grilled but also pretty average. Hopefully just caught them on an off day cuz this was not worth the time, money, or hype. This wrap eugh.

$4 chicken
$15 wrap
Paid $21

Welcoming and warm space. This place gives me home vibes. The name has its own unique meaning. Its really its own brand. So much parking lots and street parking all around, very convenient. This street is so busy tho, theres doctors walking around, business people, people who just got surgery, deliveries from large trucks. My fav is their Miso Ceaser wrap with the organic chicken and house made sauce, like what!! Its so much more fresh than erewhon and theirs is prepackaged in some fridge..lol. They have a new chorizo breakfast burrito, the image speaks for itself. The lox toast with avocado is so good too. This street is poppin. Im so happy they opened. Family owned business and i love supporting that. They’re lucky to be on this street away from the chaos. They have their own community here. Only the real locals know about it. Its lowkey but huge. I went on their ig and saw they’ve been having wait times for the longest time. That tells me their food is fire and so are the drinks. What makes me keep coming back is the their high quality drinks and food. Organic coffee which tastes fire, seed oil free, organic house made syrups, organic milks, house made sauces, organic chicken, grass fed steak, pasture raised eggs, house made foams. Like should i keep going lol? how much more better can it get. oh and ceremonial matcha. And they match or are even cheaper then the other standard shops around. Freshly baked goods delivered daily, fresh bread. Truly a passion behind this. I’ve even seen celebs here, so ya im coming back

Faregrounds has become my go-to spot in LA — Their iced matcha latte is unmatched: smooth, earthy, and perfectly balanced without being too sweet. Easily one of my favorite iced matcha in the city. The Spicy Don sandwich and Miso Caesar Wrap are both incredible — flavorful, fresh, and made with ingredients you actually feel good about eating. One of my favorite parts? They don’t use any seed oils, which makes a huge difference in how clean and light everything tastes.

Whether you’re dropping in for a quick lunch or a mid-day matcha or coffee break, Faregrounds nails that effortless Beverly Hills energy.

Faregrounds has become my 2x a week treat and sometimes I’ll pick some up for the office girlies cause they’ve become JUST AS OBSESSED AS ME??

I LOVE their matcha. It’s bold and nutty and always so smooth. My newest addiction has been the oatmilk matcha with banana cold foam. I’ve become friends with Natalie and SHE’S THE BEST and I found out they make all of their syrups in house from SCRATCH. Like are you kidding me.

I also love their earl grey matcha and their cold brews w cold foam. Can’t go wrong with anything. PS their food is all so so good. My fav is the spicy don sandwich and miso caesar salad.

1000/10 will be coming again. TY faregrounds and the girlies for making these drinkies!

The food was extremely salty, completely inedible. My boyfriend and I each took a bite and had to drink a lot of water just to ease the saltiness. It costs around $18 in-store using the machines and about $15 on DoorDash. Definitely not recommended.

I emailed you on January 13, but have not received a response so far.

Service, amazing. The staff was on top of it all. Uber drivers everywhere, customers everywhere, the place was packed!! No room to walk. No tables open. Staff handing out orders and drinks cleaning the tables. Super attentive and kind. What a rush. Wait time was 25-30mins which is fine, another Italian deli place has 45 min wait times so you know this is fire. Didn’t mind waiting, they prefaced it to me ahead of time so I knew what to expect!

Perfect ambiance and getaway from all the noise in Beverly. You can tell the owners really took care in trying to make this place a welcoming and clean environment. Had the pleasure of meeting the owner Alec. Girl in the front was helpful and kind, great food, and it’s super quality food. I recommended the Spicy Don!!! The Ricotta Whip is also super good if you’re into sweets. I already came a couple of times for breakfast. Avocado Toast is beautifully made, Breakfast Burrito is one of a kind and that Grilled Cheese is delightful. I also had the opportunity in trying their new fall salad which is super refreshing and totally different. Prices are a steal compared to others. And they actually use avocado oil!! No harmful oils or anything.

Stopped by this new cafe a few weeks ago, and let me just say—WOW. Working right across the street, I’ve been hoping for a place like this to pop up in the area, and Faregrounds did not disappoint. The vibe is laid-back, the staff is incredibly welcoming, and the space itself feels like the perfect mix of cozy and modern.

Now, let’s talk about the food—because that’s where they really shine. The sandwiches were next-level. The crunch, the texture, the freshness—absolutely on point. I went with the Basil Thai Steak sandwich, while my coworker got the Spicy Don. Of course, we shared, and honestly, we couldn’t decide which one was better because both were packed with flavor and had such unique profiles. The crispiness of the Spicy Don? Unreal. And that sauce? No words can do it justice.

To top it off, we each got a Matcha Latte, which was perfectly balanced—smooth, not too sweet, and not overpowering like some places tend to make it.

Overall, this was hands-down one of the best cafés I’ve been to in Beverly Hills in a long time. They’re bringing something fresh to the area, and I can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the menu. If you’re in the neighborhood, don’t sleep on this place!

Good afternoon. Attention to the management here — please hear out this request from us delivery guys who just wanna grab our order off the counter. Saw today how that tall blonde cashier was stuck at the till serving the line, while three others brewed coffee. Still, they could’ve handed stuff to drivers waiting for ready orders, get it? I stood there ten minutes plus just to pick up mine. No free parking, paid spots taken — a bit of respect wouldn’t hurt. Would be nice if during rush hour you told staff to prioritize giving out finished orders to folks queued up. Line shrinks, everyone’s happy. Thanks for listening. But if it stays like this, I’ll tell my followers to rate you low… yeah, I’ll tank your review score. Cheers.
