Went for the first time today and ordered MOUSSA’S FAMOUS CHICKEN KABOB RICE PLATE with HUMMUS and LENTIL SOUP. Everything was excellent. Chicken kabobs were very juicy and had an incredible flavor, rice was very tasty and had a pleasantly unique texture that we loved, hummus was creamy and earthly just the way we like it. Lentil should soup was a little spicy which I loved, but a little too spicy for my wife’s tastes (considering her stomach concerns). Everything was cooked to perfection and the service was warm and friendly and our food came out quickly. We will definitely be returning. Highly recommended!

Food was delicious although comparing it with another popular Mediterranean restaurant, the portions are really small considering prices are relatively higher. An extra chicken skewer costs $8, not sure if it’s worth it for that food. I can recommend this place but be sure to spend money when coming here.

If you’re craving bold, comforting Mediterranean flavors, this place absolutely delivers. I ordered the Gyro rice plate, and it was phenomenal. The gyro meat was perfectly seasoned, tender, juicy, and packed with that classic savory spice blend. The rice was fluffy and flavorful, soaking up all the delicious juices, and every bite was satisfying.
Honestly, the only downside? I wish there had been more on my plate. It was so good that I wasn’t ready for it to end. I could’ve easily gone back for round two.
Definitely a spot I’ll be returning to whenever I need a Mediterranean fix!

This casual counter service spot, just off the main street in Old town, has a nice vibe and excellent food. The owner is the nicest man, and I hope they do very well. Lots of fresh flavor, and large portions. Yum.

Temecula just got tastier with Kabob Shack! My wife and I stopped by and were blown away. I had the California Kabob wrap with gyro, and she went with the Chicken Kabob rice plate—both were packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The portions are huge, easily enough to share.
What really stood out was the sauce bar: garlic, tzatziki, sumac chipotle, and mango chili. All four were delicious, but mixing the garlic with sumac chipotle was a game-changer.
The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and it’s exciting to see new owners from San Diego investing in our community. Kabob Shack is a fantastic addition to Temecula, and we’ll definitely be back!

Went Sunday morning. The food was great. Gyro sandwich was full of tasty meat with the lettuce and sauce. French fries were seasoned and crispy. A 10 on my scale. Service was friendly and fast. Food was fresh and hot. My first time there and I was impressed. My family has been there several times and said the food is as good as the first time they were there. Mousse chicken kabobs plate is very good. Good helping sizes. I live out of state, but when I come back I will most definitely be back in.

REALLY good Mediterranean food! I consider myself a bit of a falafel connoisseur/enthusiast, and this little place really impressed me! The falafel was crunchy, herby and very flavorful. My family also enjoyed the chicken a lot!
They have a simple menu and good service. I really appreciated the sauce bar/station. I like my food extra spicy and saucy so I loved being able to adjust it exactly to my liking. Loved it here. Would definitely return if in the area again.

Our first time here. We were greeted with a friendly face, turned out to be the owner. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We tried the gyro plate and the steak wrap. They have this amazing sauce, Sumac Chipotle. It was a flavor combo I’d never think to pair and added a little kick to my gyro. We got to taste some freshly made hummus, it was better than my mother in law’s, Shhhh don’t tell her! We would eat here again.

I wasn’t sure what to order, but he patiently guided me through the menu and even explained the specific ingredients in the dishes, which was so helpful for understanding exactly what’s in the food.

Went here for the grand opening and this place was awesome. Great food, great large area both outdoors and indoors. I enjoyed the gyro wrap and plan on some of their platters for work events. We’re so lucky to have some authentic middle eastern food in old town!
