Delicious food and baked goodies! Friendly, fast, and professional service! We love this place. Try the arroz caldo, perfect for the cold weather. Delicious noodle dish with shrimp sauce, and the empanadas are amazing! This is our new hangout for sure!
Ate too fast and forgot to take pics of the dishes, but I’m getting this mango cake to go; so you lucked out with the one pic I took ❤️

Their cakes are good. I had the mango, ube and mocha flavors. Considering that the cakes are locally made and not imported from the Philippines, their prices are twice expensive but the serving size is the same as other regular cakes around other stores. The texture and taste is similar to any other local cake you can find in any local groceries around. I believe that the Red Ribbon in the Philippines taste a lot more premium.

Judy Anne was nice, courteous and patient. It was my first time there and she was able to describe all the products. After her mouth watering description of the items, we got the chicken and beef empanadas, mango cake and caramel cake and butter bread. We loved it all. The caramel cake and beef empanadas were my favorites.

The supervisor, Judy Ann Panlilio, accommodated and provided me with a whole lot of information about the cakes, promotions, online and in store and sold me the freshest cakes available. I am very satisfied at the service she provided, and I believe that she can handle being a manager when given the chance. Promote her as soon as possible, as she is ready to handle more responsibility given the amount of work she is doing for this business!

Welcome Red Ribbon to Bakeshops community in Silver Spring, MD. A new good choices for sweet fans to try. It is interesting that they have different styles and flavors of cakes and pastries from others bakery shops in this area as Red Ribbon is a Filipino bakery. I had Rocky Road slice cake and Choco Mocha Crunch slice cake. They were tasty and not too sweet. Service was fine. Anyway, the interior is quite simple but new and clean.

Besides desserts, there are some Filipino traditional dishes/meals offer for customers with a few dine in tables too. Also sell various flavors bread packages. I didn’t try yet but maybe next time.

Finally able to try this new taste from home. I’m excited and feeling’s nostalgic, and it did not disappoint. Wish they have a bigger space so we can enjoy our food without people looking over our food, it’s a tighter space. Parking is as expected, I suggest get there early to get the best spot. Food is great and they ran out of ensaymada and chicken empanadas… will try again next time. Overall, great experience. Staff are friendly and courteous.

Very much disappointed with our recent in store purchases. The mamon bread we bought is dry and lacking the usual buttery flavor. Even the cake slices tasted off and lacking flavor.

Ms. Janella and Judy Ann were very helpful and attentive. I didn’t know about the birthday cake promotion that Red Ribbon offers until today and I’m glad that they offered it to me since i have my birthday coming up! Both were friendly and professional at the same time. Thank you for what you do. God bless!

Red Ribbon is a staple in the Philippines, with that said, I don’t think their cakes reflect the quality that they stand for. The Yema cake has been my family’s favorite, purchasing one multiple times a year. Unfortunately, we’ve come to notice that they’re slowly changing out the recipe/ingredients. Adding less cream/yema, and filling the rest with larger layers of the cake base. This certainly seems like a cutting-cost move on the corporate end. I inquired if the staff knew anything about this and all they could tell me is they only receive the cake, not make it.

Very disappointed and will be looking elsewhere. I suppose the gimmick could only last for so long.

Great place, mid cake. And that’s a lot when pastries and cakes are your main products.

So glad Red Ribbon has a branch in Maryland. No more long drives to Philly, VA beach, NY, and NJ. Located at Wheaton, Silver Spring they opened I believe a couple of weeks ago. Typical long lines for a new location is expected. Should taper off in a few weeks. Love their signature cakes and rolls, and pastries, meals and cold desserts. Parking is not easy at this location, however there are free parking around, just need patience to find it. Food never disappoints, good service, for sure we will be regular customers.
