I was hankering ramen and sushi and happened to be in the area. THAT SUSHI!
For real, I was not expecting such large, tender pieces of nigiri to arrive in front of me. The pieces of fish were thick and firm and their seasoning didn’t overpower them. I could have made a meal from just them, but I don’t regret also getting ramen.
I got a tonkatsu ramen, and it hit the spot. Chewy noodles, thick and soft chashu, perfectly flavored broth. It wasn’t Michelin star, but you’re not here for that. You want comfort and to remind you of home. Definitely coming back.

Found this place thanks to the owner daughter on Instagram. I’ve come for take out a few times now and have to say it is the best sushi in Henderson/Las Vegas. It’s so fresh even for take out. And the owner is so sweet. You have to get the jumbo seared salmon or regular jumbo salmon it’s my go to. And I’ve been trying a different roll each time I come. Highly recommend.

I spend a lot of time in the Vegas area for work and was looking for places to eat. I saw a video that was posted on TikTok about this place by the owners daughter so I had to come check it out. I am absolutely blown away! Phenomenal food. It’s very quiet in here, I was the only diner which honestly breaks my heart. The owner was so sweet! I ordered the spicy miso ramen, tuna sashimi, and call 911 roll. It was all so delicious, the tuna was so fresh and tender!!! I highly recommend making a trip to Sushi & Joy. I can’t wait to come back here someday.

The food was ok. I got the salmon combo and the candy roll, and the candy roll was good. The salmon lover combo was mid, not the best fish not very buttery. The service was really the worst part about the place. I waited for over an hour before I got one roll. And so I spent less time eating than I did time waiting which is super not the vibe. Also the tables are kind of sticky and so not wiped down.

Me and the kids absolutely love this place! You can literally close your eyes and pick random options and guarantee it will be a hit. This is the highlight of our trip. Anytime we come to Vegas, we make it a point to stop here. Can’t find sushi like this anywhere.

Mmmmm… it was delicious! This place is very unassuming, it’s one of those IYKYK places.
It’s not a big place and there was only one woman to serve anyone. She was very nice but it did seem like she was rushing around, I felt a little bad for her.
On to the food- we ordered so much!! We got tuna, salmon and yellowtail nigiri , the yellowtail was the best. Ordered shrimp and veggie tempura, cucumber salad, edamame and a few rolls like the sunset, whose your daddy ( I can’t remember them all). We were shocked and amazed at how good each thing was!! Their tempura is amazing, the rolls were so delicious and it’s not that expensive.
And it wasn’t too crowded, just the 6 of us and another table of 2. Plus a couple to go orders. Apparently people usually get to go, which would make sense. Anyway I’m babbling- it’s really good!
Food: 9.5 / 10
Service: 8.25 / 10
Atmosphere: 7.75 / 10

I got the pink lady roll and ramen. The ramen had barely any flavor but the roll was delicious. Their soda tasted really watery and the chop sticks were really cheap. It was a weird experience overall and I do not believe spending $30 is worth it at all.
