The food here is very delicious! I really enjoyed the Awaze Tibs! The meat felt like high quality, and it was incredibly flavorful. The collard greens were also so good. I am not the best with spice but everything I tried was just so good.
It is served the traditional way- no utensils. It was first time eating with the injera, and it was very yummy! If you have a hang up, don’t let that stop you from enjoying really great food.
I would definitely recommend this place!

Best ethnic food experience ever! I enjoyed the entire meal and left nothing to waste. The atmosphere is nice and the staff is even more pleasant. I especially loved the coffee and the sharing of traditions and customs with the customers. I wish I could eat here weekly. The collard greens were phenomenal along with all the other flavors on my plate. I am so pleased to have had the pleasure of trying Gursha Eats and I can’t wait to return. I’m so happy with my meal that I decided to leave this review before even leaving the establishment and that says a lot cause I never leave reviews.

My daughter and I have been patiently waiting to try Gursha Eats, and were excited to hear they had opened their doors in their new location. We felt welcomed upon entering, and the customer service was perfect throughout our meal. We decided on the large platter that consisted of a variety of their dishes (6, if I remember correctly). Everything was hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious! It was a fun experience eating all of the different foods with our hands and the included injera. We will definitely be back!

Wife and I were looking to try something new for date night and heard about this Ethiopian reastaurant startup. It shares space with another restaurant but there was plenty of space and no waiting for a table. The host was gracious and welcoming and the restaurant smelled wonderful. We had the Awdamet Gursha plate with a lot of different items and plenty of Injera (sourdough flatbread) for scooping up the food and it was delicious. We also had the beef Sambusas with a REALLY good lightly-spicy green dipping sauce. We’ll be back, for sure.

Excellent Ethiopian food! We will definitely be coming back next time we are in Salem or just craving great food.
Pro tip: Eating at the restaurant is always best. But if you have to order to go, ask for your platter to be packed in separate containers if you can. It was still delicious, but I’ll remember to spare my injera from a soggy fate while transporting it 45 min home.

Gursha Eats: The owner/waiter was very welcoming with friendly service and hospitality. The food was authentic and excellent flavors with just the right amount of spice. I’m glad Salem finally has some more variety and diversity especially in the Lancaster/Northeast neighborhood. Even if you never tried Ethiopian food before it’s healthy and many options for everyone, I highly recommend you check them out.

If you’ve never tried Ethiopian food, you are seriously missing out ✨ A giant, warm sheet of spongy injera bread that’s soft, tangy, and perfect for scooping up vibrant, slow-simmered stews bursting with spices. Every bite is a mix of bold flavors: earthy lentils, tender meats, fragrant herbs, and just the right kick of heat. The service was incredible and felt very warm and inviting. We can’t wait to come back!

Well, this is not my first time having Ethiopian food. I did find it exceptionally delicious. I’m at the owner and it was like he was welcoming us into our home I had. Shio lentil dish And it was a generous portion of food. My friend had the combo that’s on the backside of the menu that could easily feed three people, and he might’ve taken half of the food home. The atmosphere was so warm and inviting the food was just so good I would definitely recommend it and I would plan to come back show up hungry and you will feel I hope this place continues to do well and thrive
