I have just recently moved to pacolet. This is my 3rd time giving this place a try and everytime has been the same thing. OVERPRICED AND THE FOOD IS JUST THROWN TOGETHER! I call in my order and the you lady who answers the phone is always super rude and makes it seem like anything you say or ask is an inconvenience. And after reading some other reviews I’m glad to know it’s not just me thinking that. There not many options in Pacolet so I guess the staff thinks they can talk to people how wer they want and just throw things in a box and charge crazy prices and people will continue to come back. Not us they have lost our service for good now and I would strongly encourage anyone who ask to avoid this place until some MAYJOR changes are made to not only food but staff as well. (Pic below is a Philly cheese steak plate that was 15 bucks that we received tonight.)

We went in to order dinner and the little girl at the counter kept saying “anything else?” Over and over just super annoyed. When our food came out they served me these “cheese fries” and refused to melt the cheese. When I asked she said “we would have to remake them” like I inconvenienced her. After we decided to just eat them a blonde girl was glaring me down, I could see because the window reflects the counter area like a mirror. Super unfriendly and extremely nasty food. None of them wear hairnets either.

Potatoes were tasty and plentiful. We got 1 Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich and 1 Hot Wings Plate. There were 6 wings in the plate with salad, potatoes, and coleslaw, but we didn’t like the wings. The sandwich was good but not satisfying.

We ordered 2 hot dogs, a grilled chicken sandwich, 2 hot dog without the hot dogs, a large fry and 6 wings, our bill was over $40!! We were way over charged and the grilled chicken was so flat and had no moisture left in it, it looked like a pancake. It was inedible. We’ll never go back. The grease soaked paper they wrapped everything in was disgusting. They’ve lost customers at this point.

I’ve lived in Pacolet my whole life, and in that time, I personally have never had an issue with the food, service or really anything at this restaurant. The food is standard small diner affair, so hotdogs, hamburgers, chicken, and a flounder plate with quick service and a nice small town appeal. Nine times out of ten, if I do decide to go out to eat and I don’t feel like dealing with the traffic or the commute to spartanburg, Gaffney, or union this is where I end up and I’ve yet to have a bad meal.

I ordered two chili cheeseburger plate with cheese fries. They charged me $2.50 cents for the cheese on my fries which looks to be a piece of squared cheese melted on top. And when you look at the rest of the menu, if I were to have ordered everything separate instead of a “plate” it would have been cheaper!!!! So why you charging 2.50 for cheese? I legit have NEVER seen it cost that much for a little bit of melted cheap cheese. They also forgot our mustard on both our burgers, I most likely won’t be going back, and wouldn’t recommend it for anyone else.
