After driving around for an hour to find the place…which isn’t the restaurant’s fault, i would assume would be the maps app or my phone. We got there close to closing time, so I didn’t expect the service we were given. The waitress was pleasant, and attentive. We order the specials, steak and lobster and steak and shrimp. My lobster tail was a little overdone, but still tasted fine. The bruchetta was amazing! The portions were large and neither my husband nor I could finish our food. The ambiance of the place is amazing, cloth table settings and cozy seating areas. Was a great place for our night out.

Our waitress was delightful. The live band was excellent! Highly recommend coming Wednesday’s at 6:30 just for the music!! The food was lower quality, especially the pressed chicken patties passed off as kabobs and the bottle salad dressing. The cook must have been inexperienced since my meal was burnt, my guest’s salmon dry. Handicapped parking was in the back of the building. Had to walk 1/2 way around over bumpy ground to get inside. Did appreciate the long ramp. Totally an old fashioned steakhouse.

Right off the back we were greeted and seated. Super cute decor. Husband and I had dinner there. We had steak, ribs and baked potatoes. So delicious!!! Our waiter was so accommodating and made super strong drinks, amazing night to our date!

The appetizers were delicious. Each order was enough to feed about 4 people the soups were nice and hot the salads look really fresh. The main courses were big enough to satisfy without overwhelming. The salmon on cedar was very crispy on the outside and buttery and smooth on the inside right. The filet mignon was perfectly cooked to order with enough seasoning to taste perfect. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive and very timely with checking in on us. The atmosphere was very nice and it was not too crowded. Overall this was a great experience that I recommend to anyone!

Worst chicken ever. My husband had the steak sandwich. He said it was good, but if he we went to patio burger down the street it would be about the same for 1/2 the price. This place looks like it needs some serious work. The booth was easily 1 inch shorter than whatever booth was previously there so there was an open cut out in the wall with the wallpaper ending in the gaping hole. The waitress clearly had just smoked a pack of cigarettes, it was less than appetizing. Once we get the bill, we used a credit card to pay the waitress returns with a piece of paper telling us the credit card machine was broken so I had to sign a random piece of paper. Needless to say we will not be returning to this place.

One thing that sets the good restaurants from the great ones are the people who cater to your service, Porterhouse breakfast has a very professional team that makes sure that we, as guests in their establishment, get the best possible experience we could ask for, very friendly and kind management. Not only is the food delicious, but the atmosphere is ideal for a great start to the morning. The servers and the managers go out of their way to make sure our needs are met ! thank you for the great food and awesome experience! this town need a place like this !

The steak kabobs, and filet mignon were juicy and savory! The salmon plank was exquisitely seasoned, not fishy at all, very scrumptious! I even ate all my veggies! Even the veggies were savory! Our server Kelly went above her duties to accommodate our every whim and make us feel at home! This is our 2nd time coming here. The first time Ryan was our server and we received outstanding service as well. I highly recommend this place. The food is great and customer service is above average!

We ordered filet minion, lobster & crab legs. They only con the lobster broiled & burnt. The steak was flavorless as were the crab legs. Very ghetto & we were VERY disappointed with our $140 meal!! The heated bread tasted microwaved. There were butter packets instead of fresh butter. It wasn’t bad for $50 but NOT $140!

Upon entering through the door, we were greeted by a warm and sincerely smiling face. Promptly seated at a beautifully set table, cloth table cloth, and napkins. The bread, and appetizer was to die for. The coffee superb. Jackie, our multi talented and apex hostess is paramount. I will update on the main course later. OK the main course was … Let’s just say this is my new favorite steak house in the Chicago area. Had tha steak Neptune. And it was delicious, and perfectly prepared. The price is very fair, and Jackie will get more than the simple 20% gratuity.
