Best ice cream I’ve ever had in my life! And that’s saying something, given I’m a bit of an ice cream snob (prefer all natural). The seasonal Apple Crisp and another one called Cookie Butter Crumble were out of this world and really went together well in a waffle cone. Talk about hand crafted flavor! Jaw dropping, really! Now I’m back 2 weeks later and brought a cooler to buy a bunch of pints to go home to let the rest of the family try it. Luke was behind the counter for both of my visits and he was super helpful and really friendly and personable – so excellent service too. This will be a regular stop for me when I visit the Olympia area!

So happy to have this delicious sweet treat of ice cream near me. The ice cream is creamy and very flavorful. They give you nice big scoops of ice cream. We chose Mocca white chocolate chip gluten-free, mint chip, vanilla bean, strawberry, and added bumble berry jam with whipped cream. Absolutely scrumptious. We will most definitely be back!

The ice cream is excellent, and the service good, but the menu board is unreadable to this senior citizen. They did not have a print menu to offer. I had to have my spouse read the board to me. Minus one star for accessibility failure.

I was very excited to try this place. The ice cream was really good. I got an egg carton with 6 different flavors to try and the Lemon Crumble was out of this world. I’m a sucker for the classics and the vanilla bean was so bean-y and the strawberry was perfect. Despite the ice cream being delicious, I still left with a sour taste in my mouth because of the person behind the counter. I was the only one in line, she saw me and ignored me. She continued to work on waffles long enough that I checked to make sure I was in the right spot. I only realized she wanted to take my order because she stared at me until I was uncomfortable. I clarified that she was ready to take my order and stepped forward. I was excited to be there and I told her that I hadn’t been there before and asked for a recommendation. At this she promptly sighed and started to clean. She did gave me a recommendation, but I realized she was entirely uninterested in the encounter. So I tried a quick sample, and ordered. I like little spoons to eat my ice cream with, and I think it is wasteful to toss them so I kept mine in my mouth while I fished around for my credit card and paid. She then very abruptly told me that spoon gets washed and reused! You have to give it back! And she shoved a little trash can under my nose. She was abrupt, and I felt like she was treating me like I was trying to steal. I had no idea. If there was a sign, I didn’t see it. I gave the spoon back and left feeling humiliated.

We love Sweetlee’s. We’re on the Westside so the truck on Harrison is our usual spot but we finally visited the Tumwater Art District location.
I’m not a fan of the menu style, it’s super cute and fun but a little difficult to read.
The banana cream pie is my favorite flavor and I tend to get that each time. We’ve also had the lemon jam crumble, 2X vanilla bean and spiced apple.
Our visiting friend enjoyed their flight which included six mini scoops.

From the moment I tried their ice cream outside the downtown temporary ice rink I knew this place was the real deal. Perfect waffle cones and a banana cream pie flavor to die for. Then came along their cookies. None better than the captain crunch baked cookie! Absolutely divine

People ask me what my favorite ice cream place in town is and I tell them that it is this one. The reason why is because it is delicious and they really try new flavors and really go outside the box. Even before you walk in, you can smell waffles. My favorite is the chocolate cookie surprise. It is a cookies and cream ice cream but they put in different cookies like peanut butter, snickerdoodle, and I forgot the last one. I also love their seasonal s’mores ice cream and trick or treat. The s’mores has the typical s’mores flavor but they add a little smoke to it, like a campfire. The trick or treat is a chocolate ice cream with candy bar chunks and whoopers. My favorite on tap are the lemon jam crumble and the salted cookies and cream. They also use these little wooden spoons to taste the different flavors and they wash and reuse them. If you want to try a little more, they have a flight, where you can try 6 flavors. I go here way too much, I’m afraid.

The Tumwater location has been good to us and the young ladies working their, but the West Olympia location has not. Young guys who don’t want to do their job or even seem to care. Didn’t want to serve us shakes or even give us the flavors we wanted because they wanted to go hang out with their buddies who were sitting inside. Not on just one occasion either

Tasty vegan options! I had a non-vegan with me who loved their coconut cream. They had three labeled vegan options and more vegan pints you could take home. I also loved that they labeled one as sorbet. I want creamy ice cream, so it helped me order.
