We were made to feel so welcome as British tourists, and made so many friends quickly.
The bar staff are amazing and a big shout out to Yvonne who was absolutely brilliant.

So this is a beer and sometimes a wine bar( that’s when they don’t run out). You can also get a canned soda. There’s also two pool tables that can get pretty busy. On Wednesday, they have karaoke with Sammy. The acoustics are decent. There are no books or a que to sign up. Just tell Sammy, and he can usually make it happen

The Eagle’s Nest is a smaller bar with two pool tables and two dart boards. It’s a friendly atmosphere with a good group of regulars. I like to go for Karaoke on any of the five nights they have it. Blue’s Night open mic isn’t as “open” or inviting as I’d like it to be, but the established performers that are invited to play are talented and nice, though a bit hard of hearing given the volume they crank the speakers up to in such a small room. Overall, it’s a nice place to grab a beer or one of a very limited selection of shots and I’ll keep going back.
Update: The nest has changed ownership twice since I last posted. Wednesday night Karaoke is fun and they also have a pool league that plays on Wednesday. There has been at least one remodel over the past few years, but it’s still very much a dive bar. There is live music on Tuesday, but I’m not sure if it’s Blues focused or not. The atmosphere is still the same and it’s still a nice place to stop in for a few drinks and some singing between games of pool.

Alright….if you enjoy dive bars with karaoke machines and darts…this is the place for you. They don’t have a hard liquor license so mostly wine and beer. People are cool. Seems to be a hot spot for locals. Parking in the rear. Overall a good experience. Friendly staff. Prices were reasonable. Now on to the next dive bar!!

For those who know of this place, you simply can’t get enough. For those who never been here, its a laid back bar that provides hundreds of hours of karaoke throughout the week. No matter your mood, you walk away from this play having had a great time and met several people you will definitely run into again. And who knows, you may run into me on a Friday or Saturday rocking the microphone.

It’s a good place to unwind. Karaoke some nights and jazz band Tuesday nights. As far as service, bartender Mel needs a bit of improvement. She’s always staring at her phone and not paying attention to the clients. You need to yell her name out to get her attention.

It’s basically a beer bar for locals. If you are not a regular or dont know they dont serve hard alcohol, they give you dirty looks and convince you to leave. Sketchy guy in the parking lot who either said he was a regular or worked there was telling us to bring open containers from the liquor store instead of leaving.

Open til 2 am and don’t open again til 10 am. Great locals place with ice cold beer in frozen mug. Come down and check it out,great prices and always some drink specials going. Clean and chill to enjoy your drink and conversation.
