My friend and I spent our afternoon chatting at Caribbrew. I loved the atmosphere from the time I walked in. The decor felt like I was back in the Caribbean, sitting on a veranda. The Kremas Hot Chocolate and cod fish patties were delicious. The owner was lovely, kind, and welcoming. She also had a great playlist going, which we enjoyed. Can’t wait to visit for many more days to come.

Absolutely loved this spot. The food was incredible authentic, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Everything tasted fresh and well-seasoned, the kind of meal that makes you slow down and really enjoy each bite. The coffee was just as impressive: rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced, easily some of the best I’ve had at a café.
The vibe really sets this place apart. It has a warm, welcoming café atmosphere that makes you want to sit, relax, and stay a while great music, great energy, and a genuine neighborhood feel. Whether you’re coming for a full meal or just coffee, this is a place I’d 100% recommend and will definitely be returning to.

The food and coffee quality were excellent! The veggie patties (not pictured) were savory in a perfect flaky, buttery pastry. The Americano was good and strong, and was a suggestion from the owner, who was gracious and kind. It’s a small business, so be patient—it was worth the wait.

I had such a peaceful and productive time working at Caribbrew in Newark, NJ. The atmosphere was calm and inviting—perfect for focusing and getting things done. I started my day with their House Mocha, which gave me the perfect boost to dive into my work. For lunch, I ordered the Cajun Egg Turkey Sausage sandwich, and wow… it was amazing! So flavorful and satisfying.
The hospitality and service were top-notch, and I even ran into the pleasant surprise of finding out that many people I know also frequent this spot. It’s clear this place has a strong community feel. Overall, an incredible experience—highly recommend!

The coffee was great! Pricey but good. Small but good. They need to post a price list. The lemon rum cake had good flavor but was very dense. I also had the patties and I hate to say but they were not very good. Stick with the coffee!

Really loved the patties! The pistachio latte was excellent ! When you get there early everything is super fresh. It’s a good spot to work however a couple small things would rlly elevate the experience. For one, area rugs would be huge in this space. Right now if you take a meeting or meet someone for lunch you can barely hear yourself over the echo. Carpet and sound absorbers on the ceiling would really help this and make the place feel more warm and inviting. Signage directing people where they can park is another big one. I wanted to do brunch here w my mom but we drive around in circles and then gave up. Last some ambient music – not too loud – would really make it feel less cavernous as well.

I was happy to see a new cafe in the Newark area! When I arrived I had to circle but found parking on the street. I walked into the cutest place! I ordered the frozen hot chocolate and it took only a few minutes. When I tried it was very rich. I wish it was a little sweeter but all in all, I enjoyed my experience!

I ordered the beef pâté and the Caribbean Spiced Latte, and honestly, it tasted just like home. The flavors were rich, warm, and sooo familiar…exactly the kind of comfort food you crave. The lady who handle my order was so pleasant. I suggest to order ahead due to parking.. You can park in front with your hazardous lights on for pick-up orders only, other than that I highly recommend!

Went there with husband yes the place is beautiful but the coffee, pastry everything is trash and overpriced, the cremas latte is a 3/10, I give it 3 only because the barista was super nice other than that is not worth the money and all. Everytime I tried to support My Haitian people I always got disappointed
