I ordered a classic shawarma here and I asked for shredded lamb as extra meat. It was clearly posted on the glass that shredded lamb was + $3.50 as also seen in my posted picture. When I wanted to check out, I saw the itemized receipt and shredded lamb was listed $6.25. I asked the cashier about it and he initially claimed that it was tax! Then I explained the problem in detail, and he had no ideas and just said there might be a price increase without notice! I asked for the manager and he said the manager was not there at that time. This was a clear example of breach of contract. I was really offended and I won’t visit here again.

We had lunch here today and ordered the Mezeh Classic grain bowl and the Lemon Garlic Kebab grain bowl. Both were delicious and very filling, with a variety of flavors. We liked that everything is made to order and uses very fresh and healthy ingredients. The portions were also quite generous. We plan to try their wraps next time.

If I could give zero stars I most definitely would. To say I was flabbergasted when I got the build your own bowl by Grubhub delivery is an understatement. I did not get my hummus, there were 4 pieces of cubes of chicken that had fat in it. I had 4 of the pita croutons strips. Insane for $16.95 per bowl. They charge $3.50 for the 4 cubes of chicken. I felt like I literally burned money. I also added the garlic & herb chips that apparently are popular. But I wanted them for the hummus that was not in the bowl. It was truly a horrible disappointment. At least Chipotle gives us our money’s worth. I tried calling because I really would’ve liked to talk to the person who did the bowl for me. SMH.

Food was really good. Great quality food for a great price. Definitely recommend ordering a bowl with a large selection and variety of proteins and toppings along with sauces.

4 stars for effort and because the guy at front today was kind. However I make better chocolate chip cookies and food than this so ehh overpriced for what we got. Was fun for the experience and for the vibes of eating out won’t come back

I love this place! When you walk in, it feels like you’re in this really cool and modern (but a little futuristic) place! The food here is absolutely delicious as well, and I would highly recommend getting their mandarin cardamom drink! The workers were are super nice as well!

It pains me to say this after our long, happy relationship with this Mediterranean restaurant, yet they have changed management and the results are DISASTROUS! In the past, my family and I have always felt refreshed and like we found a gold mine, recommending it to everyone we know, but since the new changes, including management we have both left FEELING SICK to our stomach. Curious about this, we have come to find that they downgraded to a saturated oil that they call fruit oil., claiming that it’s not seed oil, and cleverly boast that it comes from the same family as coconut, but it’s just standard toxic, saturated PALM OIL!! This is just an attempt to mask the fact that they have switched to a cheaper oil that according to all experts is very unhealthy. In addition, the portion sizes in the rice bowls have diminished considerably. Now, as the servers prepare a spoonful to put in the bowls as they serve you, they now shake it off to avoid giving too much, which is a significant change from the more generous portions that they once offered. Often times 50% less. That’s right, half as much!! The servers even give nasty looks when you ask for a full spoon full of a certain condiment or ingredient after they intentionally skimp on it. My wife and I will no longer be going here to eat. A place that we once frequented 3X per week! Also, The original staff is no longer employed there!

RESPONSE TO THE OWNER’S AUTO REPLY (BELOW):

Unfortunately, Google will not allow me to respond to the owners’ AI stock reply to my review, so I will add it on to my initial review: If Mezeh would simply disperse with the patronizing pleasantries of there cookie cutter AUTO REPLY and just do the honorable thing of abolishing the toxic palm oil and train their staff properly, I’m certain I could persuade my family to give Mezeh another chance. But seriously, changing oils after years of promoting the the health benefits of olive oil and then changing it does not sit well with me or my friends that are also health conscious. As my friend and I would agree, I would welcome hearing from top leadership to discuss other options.

This place is SO good. I went here for their opening night and we waiting almost two hours in line. There aren’t many places that I would say would be it worth it for that, but this place is the exception. There were hundreds of people there, and the staff worked so efficiently and was so friendly. All the tables were clean despite there being so many people, and all the the ingredients were full so I could pick what I wanted easily (they also don’t change for extra toppings!) They give you complimentary pita with your order and it was perfect with my bowl. I will certainly be back here, it will probably become a stable for me in State College.

FRESH. Healthy fresh foods with great flavor. I order often off of DoorDash & in person & the portion sizes do not change, which I appreciate. Large portion of food. The staff is friendly!

I revisited this place after 2 years. They have changed it a lot and have improved the taste. Only thing I hate is they add very less hummus. They better get a bigger scoop for it.
