We have been here twice since their opening, staff has been very friendly! It’s a cute local spot and we love the fact that they want to keep doing live music. It has a nice indoor/outdoor vibe near the bar. The chicken wings were good the first time we went.
The second time we ordered the buttermilk fried chicken with extra mashed potatoes. It was a delicious dish packed with a lot of flavor. I was pleasantly surprised how juicy and moist the chicken was and how buttery and flavorful the mashed potatoes were. The grits were very tasty too. I would 100% order this entree again.
The clientele is on the older side, boomer age. (What I have seen from the two times we have been). But it’s a cute local spot!

As an actual born and bred FLORIDIAN, it’s refreshing to eat at a restaurant in Jupiter that serves some legit dishes like fried chicken, collard greens, and a pimento bacon cheeseburger. Comfort food and a good bar. Would love for this place to have more live music and lean into the local vibe.

We really want this place to succeed. You can tell there’s effort here. The salmon was very good, and the service was okay.
That said, there are a few things that made the experience tough. There’s a full bar but no cocktail menu, which makes it feel a little unfinished since it just opened up. The high-top seating was uncomfortable — the chairs are nearly as high as the tables, so you end up leaning over your food and your back starts to hurt.
The biggest issue for us was that almost everything is pre-seasoned or marinated. If you have food allergies or need something prepared plain, your options are very limited. My wife struggled to find something she could eat because of this.
There’s definitely potential here, but a few adjustments — more customizable options, a cocktail menu, and more comfortable seating
would make a big difference.

Saltbird is a much-needed addition to Jupiter! The atmosphere is inviting and lively, the mac and cheese was rich and delicious, and the fried chicken was perfectly crispy and flavorful. They also have a great wine list with excellent selections. Can’t wait to go back!

The overall feel was very chill. It was not comfortable sitting kind of in the middle of the room but easy fix next time. Fried Green Tomatoes were great, as well as shrimp and grits and catfish and grits. Cocktail was light on the rum. Will go again to try other menu items.
